LOLOLOL downing over johnson / sturridge / lennon ? Milner is lucky to keep his spot tbh. Unfortunate scholes couldnt pull the boots on again, would be first midfielder chosen. why in the world do they persist with barry, honestly they are playing for 1-0 wins, and where is micah? RUBBBBBBBBBBISH SIDE.

btw, lol at jordan henderson in the stand-by players, and i honestly hope another walcott saga happens to ox, he is a massive talent.

So 0 goals and 0 assists still gets you into the England team eh?

And you will see the reason why uncle Woy failed at Liverpool

If that is the final squad, it really doesn't look great.

That said, this is the least talented set of English players in a generation. Not since Euro 92 have England has such a lack of genuine world class players.

Rooney's the one and only English world class talent right now (maybe Joe Hart too?). Lampard, Terry and Gerrard have all been at that level for much of their careers but are past that level.

Compare this set of players to, say, Euro 2004 - a teenage Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Terry at their peaks. Ferdinand, Neville, Cole all playing at a level far above anything this current lot can achieve.

Wilshere and Cleverley will be walk ins to the squad come Euro 2016, possibly even for the WC. Some promising youngsters coming through for them but this squad won't really challenge for anything.
