It wouldn't hurt the NRL to award an ex-gratia payment to the dogs in recognition of the error if they are level at then of the home and away rounds. Saints still get their payment and in addition the dogs receive the same. Good luck. Not a bad idea. Would buy the NRL a lot of goodwill far in excess of the expenditure, And a hell of a lot more effective than the dollars wasted in trying to promote the game though "pin up" boys who turn out to be boofheads.
