Roosters are working behind the scenes to get Isaac Luke over to Bondi ASAP...

They reckon its a done deal for 2010 but are trying to get him over there for 2009

Well that explains why Riley Brown isn't in our top squad.

Wouldn't mind Luke, he doesn't wanna be at the Bunnies.

Ergh, after the World Cup, Luke said being in the Black and White means way more to him than the Red and Green.

You could be reading too much into that. He probably means Country > Club.

Well wouldn't you be pissed if someone from your team said that?

Mixed feelings. People always dream of playing for their country and if they had a choice between club and country.....

What are you talking about? Nearly every player in the world in every sport has those same feelings and that doesn't mean they are being disloyal to their club, rather they are patriotic and love playing for their country.

I wouldn't be so public about it.

There has been a lot of conjecture about Luke for a while now.

Is he even off contract for 09? Or are the roosters trying to pull another mason? Ffs cant they be a normal club and go after off contract players?

I'd put club before country, but that's just me.

with the salary cap, theres not many players left if at all. who stay at the 1 club all their carreers, so don't think they could put club before country
