Dad grew up in Campsie, raised his family in Caringbah, been a doggies man all my life, saw my first berries game at Sutherland oval back in the late sixties, first memories at Belmore was Terry Reynolds as I was a budding 6 year old half back.I remember Phil Young feeding the scrum on their 25 and Dad saying look at Dowling who was back on his 25 starting his run up, was there at Jubilee when Turvey was demoted to reserve grade, chipped twice over the defence and scored, the rest is history. I spent the 70's going to Belmore and other local grounds to follow the dogs, my passion is still as strong these days even though Dad is cheering from above, my kids are dogs supporters and so the tradition continues.
