Has anyone on here experienced the club go through a similar period like this?

I've been a Dogs supporter since 1981 and the leanest period I can remember was 89-92 although we were extremely competitive. 2017 to 2023 is the worst I've seen but I hold out hope that we'll turn it around in the next couple of years.

    Jayden Okunbor

They spent so much time rehabbing his knee they forgot about his hands.

4 plays that stifled our attack (Round 3)

It wouldn't have been pretty. In saying that, the 2004 side was littered with rep players and future rep players compared to this one. We've got two world class backs joining us next year. Just need to add a couple of forwards who run hard and we'll creep our way back up the ladder.

4 plays that stifled our attack (Round 3)

Well done on a great post. Young halves always stuff up from time to time. They'll get better. This will all be a memory in a couple of years. If Flanagan scores that first try from the Elliott break, we're talking a very different ball game

They were not Star players, but enjoyed watching them.

News The passing of former player Bal Numapo

I'm going on memory because I was pretty young at the time. He was being played in the Centres in Reserve Grade (possibly 5/8th). When Peter Moore questioned Gould about where to play him, Gould said he would have to move Kevin to Hooker to accommodate him in the halves permanently. Peter Moore...

News The passing of former player Bal Numapo

Phil Gould reckons that Numapo was sent home by Peter Moore because he threatened Kevin Moore's chances of playing in the halves in 1st Grade.

    Chris Smith Injury

That's really bad luck for him but a good result with it only being 3 months. The issue for players like Chris Smith is that he is not a walk up start to first grade when he returns from injury. He needs to be playing to keep his spot in the 17. I'm a fan of non-nonsense players like him. Every...

    Shane Flanagan

In the end, I believe the coach will be someone close to the Anderson family. Flanagan is just too hot an issue for our club. The media would have a field day which we want to avoid. Brett Kimmorley is my pick. The Anderson's have long memories and Dymock & Pay are not their favourite people.

    CHN tonight

I think he’ll be our 14 when Foran is back. Lichaa’s days are numbered.

Opinion Rule Changes you would like to see

    - ONE REFEREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - In-Goal sin-bin for one or two sets for repeated infringements - I would actually like to see escorting/protecting wingers legalised and then we wouldn't see so many bombs for the corners. They do it on every kick anyway. Too difficult to police - 7 Tackle...

    Agree with this wholeheartedly

    Super Ref

It wouldn’t happen if they just penalised the players for walking off the mark. The worst possible result for creeping now is being asked to go back. So players will take their chances.

Opinion If pay gets the flick which coach would you like to coach the bulldogs ?

Given The Anderson's are very influential now, it wouldn't shock me if they went with Brett Kimmorley. He played with the club, he was a premiership winning halfback for Chris Anderson at Melbourne and followed him to Cronulla. In saying that, Dean Pay deserves a chance with a squad that is...

    still my favourite photo

We listened to the game on Radio as well. Pretty sure we were at a Picnic with family. I can't remember who said it but they said he beat the bugler who played The Last Post back to his seat. What a great team that 84-86 team was. I still think if David Gillespie & Peter Mortimer played in the...
