Pretty sure they had a few forwards out
Hamlin Uele and Hunt but their pack was pretty much their best.

The Tigers have made massive leaps forward this year. Taking down two top 8 sides in itself shows that they are no longer a bottom 4 team. They were hammered by the refs today and still overcame the Eels.

We have made some progress defensively, but the Tigers have shown that they are a year ahead of us.

On this weekends results that is very true but Parra without Moses is a very different team. Could all change next week. Lets hope so. But it's going to be a long season again for us Bulldogs fans.

No one's bagging out Dragons and the Flannos this week either so far lol

What they have shown with Bula and Galvin is if they are good enough they are old enough…

Agree age shouldn’t matter imo either. Doesn’t work for all though. We did with averillo and Alamotti also. Parra 18 year old was pretty bad today. Hopefully Woods or Conti are not to far away for us

Tigers have good halves & props. We need to improve at both.

Alamoti was the best junior through our system for years the sight of Politis at a juniors game made us rush and sign him. That undefeated Matt’s team of 2020 before covid was on the back of Alamoti and others including Papalii were in the team. Alamoti was the star. Hoping juniors come through is a lottery as players develop at different ages and some stop growing & their development stalls.

Winning lower tier comps means nothing. It’s a matter of having 1-2 players emerge that matters. Melbourne do that so well they will bring in a player. Tigers have blooded Bula and now Galvin all the sudden their spine is secure for years to come.

NRL is the only grade that matters everything else is fancy cake decorations. Our coaching and development at NRL and making players NRL ready are our issues.

I don’t know if this will be reviewed by the NRl. But Klemmer was waving his hands and jumping up and down trying to distract Gutherson when he was taking the penalty kick to win the game. This is in the notes relating to Penalty Kicks..

Although Tiges deserved the win Klemmer could have cost em by being a dummy..

I’d love to see the kick get retaken for those acts. Been seeing it happen a fair bit last couple years.

That’s my point. Blooding young players is all good when they become established nrl players. A lot of promising juniors don’t amount to anything. We’ve all played with and against superstars coming through, that for whatever reason didn’t make it.
