Oh arent we? Then why is he personally meeting with every transfer target. Why is he flying interstate just about weekly for recruitment purposes.

In my opinion , this seasons been rather successfully because we can finally weed out the trash , ciraldo gets a better understanding of the calibre of players and he also gets experience as a head coach

We only see the 80 minutes of football and pass judgement on the results but there is so much more than goes into an operation and you need a lot of things go your way in order to achieve success and one of the key criteria is getting a higher calibre of personnel into your organisation and this is definitely steps in the right direction

For the record , nexts years squad has the potential to challenge the top 8 and with some luck that’s exactly what we should expect ,anything less then questions can be asked .

Yes, he’s doing all that but that’s not why we paid him the big bucks. He’s specifically been brought to the club for pathways and building our production line. That’s his primary objective first and foremost.

How do you know they have rejected him? Oh yes, the media said so. You’re such a sucker! How do you know it’s not him that’s rejecting their asking price to keep our cap in check? He knows what players are worth, besides how do you know these so called franchise players aren’t just trying to boost their asking price with their current club. You don’t know shit! You’re the kind who believes everything in the media. The media love all the dummies like you, it’s what keeps them spinning their dribble.

Given Gus' title and his involvement already with signing players he has as much a role with NRL recruitment as with pathways
 
Gus has been suspiciously quiet today. Hopefully he's been up to some nefarious activity that results in something beneficial for us.

I read the first few lines and agreed but laughed at the next year's squad has the potential to challenge the 8. We're still a looooonnng way off imo

hasler will no doubt elevate them to a solid top 8 side, and maybe even make a serious enough top 4 approach. Look at the Gc team and they ooze talent.. with the addition of hunt, they’re gonna be a force.

say what you want about des, but most players love him. Tactically he’s proven to be there time and time again. And with a solid roster already assembled, Hasler will bring Gc up the table.
