Would liked to see Pele in the top 17 , but hell can't have everything. Hopefully will not leak points like last week.

Pele is getting close played 47 min in cup and was looking good. If he keeps it up and has a big off-season I think next year he will be fit enough to be a key forward for us.

I actually don’t mind the team CC has selected at all. My concern and criticism is what causes him to make changes and the fact he’s easily swayed. A bit like Fittler’s selection of NSW.. arghhh.

I can’t believe he dropped Hayze, after apparently a horrendous game. Dan Ginnane jokingly said they should put him down, the club were critical of those comments, but in a way they have put him down by dropping him completely! Not switching him with Avo. Gone! Hence the need for someone like Topine to be named at centre. Who else is there? I probably would have gone Kiraz to centre, Skelton to wing. That can still happen if he does what he usually does and at the last minute brings him into the 17.

Besides the Topine mystery, I don’t mind his other selections. Experience with RFM back. More stable starting props. Sutton isn’t great, but we aren’t exactly spoiled for choice. TPJ back to bench is good, and Flange deserves a run too.

Well according to ciraldud the guy described as the best centre at the club is now playing fullback, the guy who failed as a winger is now the first picked second rower, and a guy who is not good enough to get selected in the forwards and has not played centre is now our starting centre. Makes perfect sense.

Hoping Topine at centre is a smokescreen man. It’s an obvious one at least! I know he cannplay that position in a pinch but no way would he be the best option.

Okunbur needs to be out of that 13, he’s a utility - defensive turnstile.
Patolo should be in for Edwards.
Pele for Flanagan, I don’t know what value Kyle gives from the bench unless the plan is to sub Reed.

I'm probably Jackson Topine's biggest fan on this board but he should not be playing centre after what we've seen this year. Start him in the backrow instead of Okunbor who should be in NSW Cup.
