I think Avo went better in d this week compared to his shit show last week.

He was sloppier than usual at contact last week but it was hardly a shit show, most of the missed tackles were from him falling off the legs after leading the kick chase or shooting out from marker. Statistically it might've been seven missed tackles and yes he should've done better but realistically it was a non event, roosters didn't even make a break or score a try through him last week. Do you really think our team is capable of covering our centre if he genuinely missed those tackles in the frontline? No chance.

Our middles and left edge are more of a concern right now as teams are walking right through our middle and then targeting Burton/Alamoti and beating them practically every way possible. Fox has also been horrendous defensively since he's come back.

Brooks looks like going to Cowboys, who would have to release Townsend to make it happen. Maybe Townsend for 2 years.

Brooks looks like going to Cowboys, who would have to release Townsend to make it happen. Maybe Townsend for 2 years.

Townsend is a no brainer from a commercial standpoint. Great family man and markets himself pretty well, could form a pretty good partnership with club post football.

On the park he'd just be a steady general leading the team around taking pressure off Burton to hopefully show his best.
