Every week it’s a different excuse with you guys. Our defence hadn’t been up to scratch all year and the score line that tested us today. Canberra were denied a 100 percent clear as day try snd we score off the next movement without actually crossing the line.

As I said before, players like Perham, Casey, Alamoti and RFM need a stint in reserve grade as they haven't showed anything at all since the start of the comp.

In saying that (now that I have smashed the TV and calmed down), I am still proud of the boys considering we played a full strength Raiders side and we have Kikau, JAC, Sutton, still out injured. Kiraz, Pele and King are still not 100% and we still only lost by 4pts.

Alamoti was fkn terrible. Casey was so bad I felt sorry for him.

The discipline is too lax. There are still braindead lazy reactions to incidents that happen in play.

We let opposition run up to us or run out of the line then cant get them to ground. They seemed very wary of hip drops.
We need bigger middles and we have too many jinking sideways forwards runners who arent robust enough.


You can't play a competitve game with mistake riddled players or players who turn from rocks to diamonds with their effort plays.
There is no place for Oki. Replace with either Edwards or Hughes.
No place for Casey.
TPJ needs to come off the bench. He is too inconsistent.
King shouldnt have played by looks.
Perham is a tryer but not robust enough for first grade. Easily dominated at the back and out of position.
Fox cant get back quick enough to help Alamonti.
RFM's spot really should be under a cloud.
Waddle must be a middle. He is wasted at 2ndrow.

Rfm to me really is not demanding his role.

He has the “boys” role. Though on field? I’m yet to see a quality game.

As a staring player I want a lot more. Murray, carrigan, Jake t, radley, Harris etc I get he’s not in that league but he’s underwhelming at best.

Pangai I have backed. He’s only back a couple games and his first was his best. He’s not progressing at the moment.

I miss kikau. His offence was off but his defence was A+

Alomiti was terrible tonight. Him and Casey for sure the worst on field. That is a concern. Is alomiti struggling without Jac and someone as shit as Casey? Or worse is he regressing and showing Jac just made him look decent?

Perham has moments and does things well but he also needs To fucking run into the line. Look forward to critta .

One thing for sure. We need forwards. Thompson, Sutton, kikau out is hurting. Waddle can’t be an edge player. Rfm can’t be our 13.

Kikau when back has an edge but we need a 13.

Rfm can go to bench with waddle and Sutton and our pack looks alright.

Ciro is making unnecessary changes, screwing up our players’ heads, sending mixed messages and making our injury situation even worse. And our defence has been soft as this year.

Karl struggled today and if he continues to play first grade it’s only going to set his career back. He needs more time.

I don’t enjoy watching us lose, but at the same time I’ve become desensitised to it. I’d rather watch us lose if it will result in us making changes and becoming better. Once again we have gotten our coaching appointment completely wrong. I think of Crichton coming next year while we are still short a half, a fullback and some big boppers and I shudder.

Enough of the sunshine and flowers crap. We are going about this rebuild all wrong and it’s depressing to watch.
