He fixes just amost every issue we have in attack and defense at the moment. Add a real Halfback to the side as well, and we have a spine for the first time in 10 years.

Luai wouldn't solve any of our issues and plays the same edge as Burton. So one of them would be forced to play out of position and one of them would have to become a game manager, which neither is.

Neither.
With the increased Salary Cap, Edwards MIGHT be worth $1m or closing in on it. He reliably puts in a lot of work. We have Papali'i coming through NSW Cup, though, and he's potentially an actual superstar FB.
Luai isn't worth $1m. He's a good 6 who's been the beneficiary of an exceptional team around him.

Bit harsh for an NRL Fullback that's been part of back-to-back Premierships with a possible 3rd. Agree, he's surrounded by class but we've seen how Penrith go with and without him. He's quickly become a player that's the difference in winning and losing the big games.

I mean I wouldn't be throwing a million dollars at him, but for up to $700k or so you gotta be chasing this guy.
