That draw is scandalous.
Can't see a single reason to get an overpriced season membership.
Home games in in 80,000 seat stadium against Manly, Knights, Titans, Warriors, Cowboys.
Even Commbank would struggle to generate atmosphere for those matches. That's 5 games that can be written off now.
An empty Olympic Stadium has been a big factor in Bulldogs losses and disappointing season for nearly 20 years.
The only game I'd consider paying for a good seat would be the Eels game. More than happy to be on the hill for the 2 Belmore games.
So basically will go to the trouble of attending 3 games.
What a fucking joke.

As per usual magic round is a home game for US and an away game for Brisbane

All in all a much much better fixture list than last season. Our trips are at either end of the season, we spend long chunks of time in Sydney. In terms of the home game setup, two games at Belmore is better than one. Good to see!

Did finishing 12th this season help with our draw? How bad is the draw for the Titans, or Wests, or whoever got the spoon in 22?

Yeah much better than previous years. The back end of the season matches dont look too bad either

Mate we haven’t made the top 8 for 6 seasons. If I had to create an impartial draw I’d probably do the same thing tbh

How isnt Magic round a home game for the Broncos when they are playing it at their home ground?
Every year.
On what planet does that make sense?
Bonkos first 10 rounds: 7 games at Suncorp, 1 down the road at CBus, 1 in Sydney and 1 in Darwin (Eels home game).

But, in the remaining rounds they have trips to Melbourne, NZ, North QLD, Sydney x 2, and Canberra. Their brisbane games are 4 at Suncorp, 1 at Sunshine Coast (Buns home game) and 3 at the Gabba.

So overall they have 8 significant trips for games.

BULLDOGS (12th)

Games played against -

Top eight: 12

Top four: 6

Bottom eight: 11

Bottom four: 7

Who they play twice: Warriors, Canberra, Cronulla, Newcastle, Manly, Parramatta, South Sydney, Gold Coast Titans

Analysis: The Bulldogs have an even share of games with 12 against top eight teams and 11 against bottom eight teams. They have the equal second most matches against top four sides with six, but they have the equal most games against bottom four teams (7). The Bulldogs play four top eight teams twice in the Raiders, Sharks, Eels and Rabbitohs.

We play a lot of low crowd drawing teams at home and lot of our harder games are away Sydney games. As a result our average home crowd will seem lower.

We need to get fans to games to get behind the players.
Anyone who has played sport will know how exciting it is to play in front of a crowd, hearing the noise. This is what has been missing for 20 years.
Until we get a ground (and draws) that can lift players, then Bulldogs players will not realise their potential.
Even in finals we made over the past 20 years Bulldogs fans have struggled to really inspire the team. 2012 GF was the classic.
We can point our fingers at Castle, Hasler, Folkes, the Andersons, Aiden Tolman, Jane Azzopardi's directional mike or the Channel 9 helicopter on Mad Monday, or terrorists who wear Bulldogs jerseys, whoever you like.
But the real cuprit that stops the Bulldogs from succeeding is the 800,000 Stadia Olympica Grande. And a draw that gives us home games against 3 Queensland sides, Warriors and teams with 30 fans in a minibus.
Screw the NRL. They're meant to be promoting the game. Not destroying it.
it's corrupt.
