Might have been. I actually had a neighbour that had a skin graft on his thumb. Back then he said it came from his scrotum. I was only 8 or 9 when he used to say it and didn't get the joke. Didn't think of it again until today. But the bloody skin did have ball bag consistency. Incredible that my brain retained that bit of information.
