He went well, as did Sam Hughes and Bailey Cox.
Todd
Hughes
Cox
Stuckey
Tanner
Edwards

All big framed with potential to add kgs.

All very willing with good motors and some good skills.

Hard to tell some of them apart at times.

Been a while since we have had some good big men coming through.

Just an aside - Kiraz and Morrin were considered not good enough for Dogs junior squads.

Shaq Tavita who is in first year of SGBall played Flegg on Saturday - he got fired up and played better than when he was in sgball - long way to go but the willingness to take on biggerr older players was a good sign.

all those mentioned i think will need to be middles - have you seen much of the forward signed from the roosters " Preston" surname? -

No ... all i know is he is a red headed Postman lol.

Coming from a good system though.

Cam Smith and Thurston were not considered good enough either.

Size often beats talent in the younger rep teams.

Jacob Preston is a Roosters Jersey Flegg 2nd rower who has scored about 8 tries from the 9 games he has played this year.

Jersey Flegg play tomorrow (Friday night) in a catch up game against Wests at Leichhardt Oval for anyone interested. Age eligible and available Cup players will boost the side.
Both teams playing "boosted" sides - dogs were outclassed last Saturday - middles look much stronger.

Dogs won the Flegg game 24-12 for anyone interested
Good turn around - lost to the tigers last Saturday.

See they tried yet another dummy half - so far this year have tried Ghantous, Ediq A, Yazici, Rouland, Joash P - latest Clarke from QLD

On the nswrl website - draw - flegg round 11

Hoffman Hughes Hayward all played
Ahh okay i didn't realise it was round 11
Two tries to Hoffman it would of been too easy for him in flegg.
He should be in first grade instead of penalty machine Waddell.

Hoffman has been steady in NSW Cup - hoping the club is aiming higher than both Hoffman and Waddell for back rowers - seems that centres who lack "genuine" acceleration and evasiveness but can defend are transitioning to the backrow - forwards on the edge need some agility and the ability/ willingness to pass the ball.
