The cows signed taumalolo on 1mil a year five years ago he was arguably worth the mil for the first three years of that deal for the last two year’s he’d be lucky to be worth 4-500k and he still has 5 years to run on his deal that has to be one of the worst contract’s in NRL history. No club should pay 1 mil a year for ANY middle forward it’s the quickest way to kill your cap for the future.

Yes, but it’s all about value for money, the only player that is currently getting paid a million a year and is actually worth that coin at the moment is Cleary IMO because week to week he is a consistent match winner, haas is unstoppable on his day and is the best prop
In the game much like taumalolo five years ago but no middle forward can maintain that match winning consistency for long periods of time it’s the nature of the position. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see haas in a dog’s jersey even for a million a year but a two year deal max with an option in the club’s favour.
