Any win we get this season is likely to be a tough hard win, we just need to get into the mindset of tough hard wins. This is a start, long way to go.

Yep. Unfortunately this game (as well as the trials) proved that we can expect rocks and some opals throughout the season. We wont see diamonds. Maybe only from Dufty.

The one thing we simply have to take out of the season is the feeling of wins and feel that we are in it in most games. We cant be beaten before we take the field or within the first 30mins.

Seriously fellas we looked terrible but considering the conditions, away game in tvl is always tough. Then the continuous penalties in the first half and losing 3 players to HIAs, that was a tough and determined win and something the team can really build on.

Just give us a dry track next time cos we have the supercars in the garage now!

Gutsy effort. Furthest away game round 1, TPJ late scratching, sin bin, a million HIA’s, terrible conditions, 2 try’s disallowed.
I know we were clunky as fuck and bereft of attack for large chunks but, 2 points and we’ve broken the string of round 1 losses. I’m proud of em.
