Got communion in bed a few times myself, but most of my time their was spent getting treatment, while living in the Hospitol units at the rear. The walk to the oncology section was a night mare having to stop 5-6 times in about 200 hundred meters., no energy due to the treatment.
During that time I went to at least 4 Chapples for daily Mass. Of the 4 Chapples 1 is near the private Hospitol enterance, 1 is near the public Hospitol enterance, 1 is in the Palative Care section, and one is in the Garden.
I've been to Orthodox Churches myself to, was told that it's ok to receive Communion in a Orthodox Church, because the Eastern Churchs had never broken away from the line of anointed Priests and therefore, communion is exactly what was passed on by Jesus to his Apostles at the last supper.
Unlike the Protistants who have made a mockery of it by watering it down and therefore trashing it.
