Burton, Pangai Junior and Addo Carr arrive at Belmore
Preparations for the 2022 season are well advanced with star recruits, Tevita Pangai Junior and Josh Addo-Carr, experiencing life at Belmore for the first time having started back at training yesterday, with Matt Burton returning last week.

That will bring together the full list of Bulldogs recruits for this season in Josh Addo-Carr, Matt Burton, Tevita Pangai Junior, Paul Vaughan, Matt Dufty, Brent Naden, Max King, Braidon Burns and Josh Cook.

The players are heavily involved in a full schedule that will take them into Xmas, before taking a short break and being back on deck in the New Year.
2023 Signings
The Bulldogs are greatly looking forward to Viliame Kikau and Reed Mahoney joining them in 2023.

Both players have signed four-year deals with the club and will be major additions to a squad that is shaping up well in regards to both quality and depth.
Country Update
GM of Football, Phil Gould, has recently undertaken a trip to the North Coast of the State to meet with a number of officials in the area in regard to strengthening the Bulldogs Pathways programs in the area.

This is a region rich in football talent, and Gould will work closely with local administrators and coaches to make sure that the best players are identified and given the best resources to help develop them, on and off the field.
Pathways Program
The Pathways Program has taken major steps in recent weeks under the leadership of Barry Ward.

One of the main focusses has been to establish a system that best gives players from the Junior League the opportunity to move into the Bulldogs Junior Development Program.

The Junior League has established a Development Program for Boys and Girls in the 14-17 age groups, with a natural progression into the trials for the Harold Matthews, SG Ball, Tarsha Gale and Jersey Flegg sides, which all begin this week.

These trials will lead into the first round of the Junior Representative Program, starting in February next year.
NSW Cup
Preparations are now well underway for the return of the Bulldogs NSW Cup side to Belmore.

The side will be selected from the NRL Top 30 squad, in addition to development and train and trial players, as the club looks to create the complete pathway that will see all junior squads form a pyramid that will lead to the NRL side.

This will enable each of the sides to learn the same structures and skill sets that will teach them the ‘Bulldogs Way’, and lead to a smoother transition between age groups.

To assist with that process, Shane Millard (Head Coach – Academy and Pathways) and Gurpreet Singh (Head of Strength and Conditioning), have been appointed to the Pathways Staff.
Sponsorship
The Club has been busy in recent weeks welcoming new sponsors to the Bulldogs, with Ultimate Security (Back of Jersey), CPe (Back of Shorts), Sydney Tools (Bulldogs Official Tool Supplier), Accolade Wines (Official Wine Partner) and ELMO Software (Official HR and Payroll Partner), all committing to the club, with further announcements to follow in the coming weeks.

In other great news, our recently launched ‘Bulldogs Business Club’ is on track to double in size, less than 12 months after being formed.

To check out sponsorship opportunities at the club please head to: https://www.linkedin.com/company/nrlbulldogs

Belmore Sports Ground
Discussions have begun in regard to turning Belmore Sportsground into the long-term Bulldogs’ “Centre of Excellence”, and the first steps in the project took place this week, with work commencing on a full refurbishment of the administration offices.

This work will take place over the next two months, although club operations will not be affected, with staff being relocated to other parts of Belmore or the Canterbury League Club.

We will continue to update you on any further developments in regard to Belmore.

Clubs flexing just casually dropping two key signing announcements as part of a monthly update. How many stories did the club run when we signed Thompson under the previous lot? Didn't they give a detailed interview from memory? :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

So is that Kikau & Mahoney confirmed then?
I doubt that they would mention it otherwise, and parramatta is on the lookout for replacement, plus there’s another year and a bit,but most definitely signed sealed delivered I’m yours.

Just curious - how was this communication issued?? Was it sent to Season Ticket Holders? Football Club Members? - It is not currently on the Bulldogs website

Kikau 4 years at a reported 3.32mil or 830k per season ..that's a long time for a lot of cash...
