He's like the worst of our forwards in reserve grade, Dean Matterson looked way better than him in the games I saw.

After watching Hetheringtons high tackle again, the fact is he aims high, the contact point is so high that he is always so close to getting it wrong.

Whether he struck the head or not is debateable but the fact is his technique has seen him suspended for some 15 weeks into his 38 game career

No use blaming the refs or thinking he is getting unfairly targeted. He makes himself a target and all these prior offences are adding up which will eventually wipe him out of the game before his NRL career even starts

This off season the coaching staff need to totally re-work his tackling technique otherwise he will be no value to us

They said they worked on his technique this preseason and look at the results...he's just an idiot under fatigue. He does less work than others already and still makes these dumb decisions. His role shouldn't he anything more than limited minutes off the bench.

Seriously, the refs thought he did "it" 6 times and the Match Review Committee said he didn't. So that's a proven (by the NRL) 6 times the refs got it wrong and looking back over his supposed indiscretions there's at least 2 more than any other player would have not have even been penalised for. Quite plainly he's been targeted and there is more than sufficient evidence that he hasn't deserved it.

FMD, Kent and Rothfield agreed on him being unfairly targeted and that happens about once every century.

Don’t really care about Napa, but if anyone looks at the Hetherington and Thompson charges and denies there is a bias against the Bulldogs, they have rocks in their head.

Wasn’t even a penalty, let alone a sin bin or suspension.

Since your post things got a whole lot worse as the charges against Napa and Hetherington have become suspensions. Add them to Thompson's current suspension.

To make your point of bias, I would be very interested to know if ever in the history of rugby league in this country one club has had three front rowers simultaneously suspended.

Maybe it is something I could ask that statistics guru David Middleton.

But I'm pretty sure I already know the answer and it is really fuc*ed up.

Napa, Thomson and Hetherington all have similar issues in defence - one of them is just throwing an arm out in what appears as a desperate attempt to tackle - unless players run into them there is rarely good shoulder contact
Is it because they have poor lateral movement, or lack of confidence in the players either side of them, jsut straight up poor defenders or is it a defensive system issue. Was evident before the new rules but is worse with speed in attack now. Any insights?
