Wish we had forwards who constantly punch holes in the defense instead of being wrapped up and dominated in the tackle.

Cheers.

Well you are missing nothing in the rugby.
Koriebete just got sent off in the 4 th minute for the most innocuous tackle ever.
That game is even officiated worse the nrl. Unbelievable
What a disgraceful decision it was

Storm are in constant attack mode and have adapted to the new rules better than any other team.

Many teams including ours are stuck in the previous era of NRL. That is play for field position deep inside the opposition 20 and then put shots on.

Storm are consistently stress testing the opposition, especially once they reach around 30-40 metres out from there own line, they shift it to the side lines.

No other team plays this way. There is a reason why are breaking point scoring records.

The new rules benefit this style of play.

They react and play faster than anyone else and that's all that matters today. The best thing about the Storm and their system is that they aren't overly reliant on a single player as various players in the squad seem to have the bare minimum skills required for certain roles while also bringing something different to the team.

Which includes the way the new rules implicitly encourage refs to give the better teams the benefit of the doubt in terms of ruck and offside (even more so than they used to). It isn't too hard to get on the front foot when you get regular fast play the balls because the other team is getting called off the tackled player, and getting space to get up to speed because the other team is getting pinged for being offside.

On a number of occasions this season we've come out and looked to have intent, but got pinged 3 or 4 times in the first 20 minutes for being offside and the line speed has all but disappeared, meanwhile the other team has somehow been faultless.

Burton's kicks don't look anywhere near as big as they normally do?
