What to expect next season

Things to note for next season:

Cotric is useless in centre, the team does not utilise him enough, and he needs someone other than hoppa playing inside him.

Schoup and Topine are dogs, potential for first team, most certainly making our bench.

We need better forwards, who can offload, Rudolph would be a good signing, however Hetherington doesn’t cut it for me.

Flanagan is not first team quality, he does not possess the attacking instincts that someone like Burton has, even Averillo has showed him up this season.

Definitely in need of a hooker, might as well write next season off if we don’t sign a top quality one.

Addo-Carr will be a gun fullback.

Keep DWZ, and figure out his best position once we have signed everyone up for next season, guys a dog and has seemed to cut out the silly errors in his game.

We must immediately, and permantely, drop Flanno, both Katoas, and Elliot.

Deitz, Atoni, Lewis, Topine need to promo'd. Deitz for fixed 14, Topine fixed 9.

Put Lewis at centre next to Cotric until this season is over. Its a write off anyway. Just try it ffs. He has passion and he wants to win, he is one of the very few.

Drop hoppa and elliott.

We arent the roosters. Stop basing the team off on paper talent.

Look at our team 2011-14....hell look at the halves combo that broke the origin draught....J.Reynolds and Hokko....they won off passion not talent.

It's still heavily dependent on who we sign for next year, and especially at hooker. Even with JAC and Burton we're not going to be expected to make the 8 imo.

I expected some improvement this year. Expected us to have lifted, to have been able to have fought for the 3-4 wins that was on offer.
After the lack of fight to have improved this year, I think its a high expectation to fight for a top 8 spot 2022.

We can't expect to be any better without signing more than a 5/8, a winger and a centre when our forwards are shithouse and get pumped every week, we're 1 half short of a first grade pairing, Flanno isn't up to scratch and Averillo isnt there yet and may not even get there. And we have no hooker. Deitz hasn't shown hes going to be the next Harry Grant, he's better than Katoa but we still need a proper first grade specialist hooker after we fill out the pack with blokes who actually go forward and give the team something to play off. JAC is a top tier player but he cant change games for us, and Burton won't be able to do anything if he's still inside his own 40 on the 5th tackle either.

I agree with a lot of what your saying. First and most important for me are a few big bodies up front. It all begins up front on the field, look at south’s when there forward pack are dominated cook and halves are non existent even the fb can’t do shit with the front getting smashed. So if the club wana get serious for next year we need a few decent bodies up front snd the rest should come together
