I need to spend more time on it. Decided to finish Ghost of Tsushima so I'm playing through that, also started Shadow of the Tomb Raider again 'cause it's such a great game. And playing Super Mario Odyssey, and Hades, and Cyberpunk, and about 10 other games. I really need to focus on one game.
GoT is my next game, then maybe I'll touch CP again.. Tomb Raider is free right now aye? Better add it to the library.

Yh you should stick to one game, probably :tearsofjoy:

Just started fallout 4 wow at how in-depth it is im guessing it will be a time consuming game.
Only problem im having with it so far is aiming and wasting my ammo. shit zombies coming out of nowhere scare the crap out of me and i start spamming r2 and missing all my shots would help if i had red dot or reflex guess I will get used to it.

It is a huge game and for the most part I've enjoyed it as much as I could until I had missions deep within the city that caused constant crashes. Might not be an issue on the newest consoles. But after repeatedly trying to complete story missions in areas where the game crashed I got frustrated and rage quit the game. I've never reached any ending in this game but supposedly there are quite a few that are possible depending on the factions you side with and the choices you make along the way. Some people have no issues with crashes. Unfortunately I did.

Ammo management is tough early on, but you'll hit a point when it's not an issue. And if you think zombies are tough wait until you start encountering groups of super mutants.

I don't know if you've reached the point where you can get into settlement building. But that's one aspect of the game I really enjoyed. Early on it was a huge hassle finding resources with the pack weight limit. But there is an easy exploit that allows you to duplicate all you'll need if you are that way inclined. which I eventually used once I got bored with being a pack rat. The only thing that frustrated me about settlement building is that you have a build limit. There are exploits to get around that too. But on consoles you can cause crashes in settlements if you overdo it with the exploits. But PC users can create some truly magnificent settlements. There is also a method to make a huge number of caps quickly when you can build settlements which isn't through cheating. I won't mention it unless you want to know. But it's hugely helpful.

The expansion packs available are also quite entertaining. The Mechanist one will allow you to customize the most kick ass companion imaginable. But it's really worth taking the time to unlock all of the companion perks.

I don't know if you plan to install a lot of mods. But be careful about which ones you install as some of them cause some serious issues.

It's a pretty good game though and when I eventually update to a new console I'll probably give it another try in the hopes that the extra processing power will alleviate the issues with crashing in the inner city.

I never had crashes but I played on PC. I also didn't finish it. I rarely finish open world games as I usually end up getting distracted, then I get bored of it, then I give up.

Probably should go back and finish it some day.

Wasn't really a fan if Fallout 4, I actually ended up giving the game to my brother as I wasn't getting into it. In saying that though, I did like Fallout New Vegas.

The past few days I've put about 12 hours into Cyberpunk 2077. I have to say that I'm pretty obsessed with it now. It didn't hook me early but the more time I gave it, the more I enjoyed it.

There's still a lot I don't like about it. The constant glitches are annoying and the lifeless NPCs that walk around with no reaction, vanish randomly, appear out of nowhere. That stuff is annoying. But the rest of the game is amazing. I spec'd in handguns and blades and I'm just destroying everyone and everything, and I'm getting fully engrossed in all the stories.

BTW, revolvers are king. I have a hand cannon and high crit and every time the hand cannon crits, their head explodes. No more bullet sponges. They just get annihilated.

The weapons early on are virtually peashooters compared to what you will find later. Some will come with incredible perks too. My favourite weapon in the game was a shotgun that slowed time when you aim. I can't recall what the perk was called. But if you find a weapon with a perk I tend not to scrap or sell these ever as those perks can later on become very powerful with the right character builds and you can modify weapons to the point where even if they start out poor, they can get much better with mods. Some perks aren't great though. The same goes for armour and clothing the perks on clothes can be very useful.

If the second settlement you are ready to start is the drive in, something I didn't find out for a long time is that you can scrap the barrels of nuclear waste in the small pond which will completely rid it of radiation which annoyed me for a long time. If you're still getting rads from that you've missed something in the pond. I suspect it's the gas station though that you've found given that it's closest to Sanctuary.

And it's not mentioned in many guides that I read, but if you turn your first settler at any new settlement into a caravan you can share resources between all your settlements. You only need to send one settler to any connected settlement to share resources too, so no need to send more than one settler from a settlement. Some settlements are going to be smallish and moderately useless for many things. But specialising them can be handy. I eventually had specialist farms, and others where I mostly sent new settlers out to scavenge resources.

If you want to make caps quickly without cheating or duplicating anything build tonnes of water purifiers as soon as you can. Aside from being a medical resource which can be hard to find/ buy at first, it's something you can sell for a decent price early on. Sanctuary has enough river space to get this rolling quickly and from memory a science build will be good for increasing the level of water purifiers and generators you can build. It's worth getting a trader set up early to allow you to sell water directly to them to reduce what you have to carry to make caps. Last thing that I found useful was to carry enough resources to build a generator and a settlement beacon just as a convenient way to get things started without needing to scrap everything.

The more I talk about this, the more I feel like getting back into the game.

There's a tonne of good advice out there on this game. I've barely touched the surface. I played completely honestly for about 40 hours until I hit a barrier with a certain area. Second attempt at playing and I cheated in a couple of areas. One of the handiest areas you can cheat is with duplication of the you're special magazine you find in your original house in sanctuary. There's the dogmeat method and one exploiting some item manufacturing machinery which I found useful. It allows you to build all your base attributes to ten and apply all your points from leveling up on perks.

I did feel dishonest for using the method. But I'd sunk a lot of hours in until the game glitched and didn't want to do the hard slog at the start again.

I'll be quiet about the game now, but feel free to hit me with questions if you want.

Thought I'd do a quick google search about this. I've played one of the lego Indiana Jones games. Turns out I've only played 1 of the 20 games already in existence.
Ooh man you have missed on one of the best point and click adventures of all time...’Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis’..the story was so good it was thought that it should have been made in to a movie in the 90s. There is also Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb..which is set just before Temple of Doom..it’s along the lines of Tomb Raider..If you like Indy these are great.. There were some shitty console ones based on the movie, although Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade point and click is good, it’s very dated. Yeah there are fair few.. Never played the Staff of Kings.. It used motion control controllers..so you as you can imagine I had f$&k all chance of playing it! :yum:

Thanks for that Hacky..Yes I saw that yesterday..is it only on Xbox?
I doubt it. Microsoft will own Bethesda (technically the deal still hasn't been signed but it will), but the deal between Bethesda and Disney/Lucasfilm Games was in place long before the Bethesda/Microsoft deal.

So it's likely that Disney signed the deal under the impression that their game would be released on multiple platforms. Microsoft would have to completely renegotiate the deal halfway through development, and it's likely that Machine Games have already started developing it for Playstation, PC, maybe Switch.

Makes more sense money wise too..and you can’t exclude PS5 as it makes games look better, play better, than the new Xbox..:D
