Bro... the only thing better than cap space is a better player than Reimis Smith. Hard to trade up when you have a piece of shit.

If Remis wasn’t happy or 100% committed , he might as well be somewhere else. He isn’t taking up a spot in the 30 or costing us money anymore.
We might still end up with Mansour as part of a deal to get Burton next year. If we get Smith and or JAC, our spine is sorted, Okunbor’s rehab sounds like it’s progressing well, He is 2 months in to a 6-9 month recovery.

12 months ago we couldn’t afford or atttact anyone. We are still a chance he might trot to Belmore. Optimisticly, If he hasn’t signed with someone else, We’re still front runners

For the output Reimis gave us it was hardly worth keeping him around for a extra year if he was unhappy or uncommitted. He will probably improve at Melbourne but I doubt much would have a changed if he stuck around. I support the club’s decision to cut bait with him.

If u read ny earlier post from this morning i said that dean ritchie on the big sports breakfast said that he will be at the rabbits abd wint be at the dogs abd he was seen at rabbitohs headquarters recently....

The question is who do you trust more...the media or a trusted source on the TK. Personally I trust Malla more so if he said it's a done deal (twice), I'm going to go with that

Also, remember right before Burton signed, Dean Ritchie said there was no timeframe on when Burton would sign and yet a couple of hours later the other journos broke the news he had signed....so I would question how good Ritchie's mail is. For mine, Brent Read has the best mail and I haven't heard him say anything about Souths yet so we'll see

So Dean Ritchie is in the know? I thought it was only JAC and his manager? He was also at the dogs headquarters recently...

That Dean Ritchie has the same type of record as Matty Johns when it comes to inside oil lol.

Tbh I have know doubts he'd rather play for Souths with his buddies. But they can not offer the same amount as us (on the books), so he'll play for big unders or join us, imo.

I'm more inclined to think that chasing JAC is more a PR thing. We need more memberships. A feel good thing.
