There was a long time ago poster here named Big Bird and he would often claim to have insider knowledge of player signings. Surprise surprise most of it was bullshit but he would always sign off on his posts with "Bird is the word".

I always thought of it as a jinx as everything he said would turn out to be utter crap.
I also consider claiming a win is on the way on game day a jinx.

So I posted it (Bird is the word) as a double negative to reverse the jinx.
