They deserved celebrations
Defensive mid
Centre back
Matic actually played that DM role behind pogba n Fernandes really well against the blades, but need a class CB too

You think klopp will be allowed to spend to boost you blokes or owners willing to keep same team and hope everyht8ng goes the same as this year?
Doubt we'll sign anyone significant which is a shame. COVID screwed us but it is what it is.

Would like to see an attacker, left back, and centre back in. Imagine we'll go close to that but all will be youngsters or backups.

Agree that they deserved celebrations and do feel for the players especially. But the fans I think will be dancing on air no matter what. It is what it is.

We'll just have to win it again next year ;)

Another 3 valuable points
I don’t think anyone would of imagined the difference Fernandes has made to this team
Him pogba very very good today
Mason greenwood knows how to find the net
Need to keep banking points, a lot of games ahead of us through all comps

We've now got 5 genuine goal scoring threats. Add sancho and that becomes 6.

Add some depth to some positions and the makings of a title challenging squad are there.

Lingard and perieira definitely need to be shown the door asap

Where would we be if they decided to sign Bruno last summer?
No idea, haven’t lost a game in any comp since he joined tho
So would be a brave man to say we would’ve the same or better

I’m not saying we would be challenging for the title but definitely would be guaranteed a top 4 finish though

I still think we need an out and out striker
Starter or depth?

Today's game doesn't necessarily rely on strikers. The false 9 usually "leads" the line with the wide players dominating goals.

Having an out and out striker would be a plan B tactical sub during the game (the way we're set up at the moment).

We definitely need sancho, another wide player or striker who can create, a creative midfielder (too risky to carry just pogba and bruno as the only creative options in midfield eg injury and we're down to one), a depth fullback to add to Williams and a starting centre back to partner Maguire.

So that's 2 starters and 3 depth players.

Usually looking at around 3 transfers per season so I think they may give the centre mid a miss this transfer season, as our mid depth is sufficient and we can rely on creativity from out wide if we get sancho.

Using sancho, rashford out wide, you've got a centre rotation of martial, ighalo(he'll stay) and greenwood.

Cracking results for us this morning.

Leicester and Chelsea firmly within range now. Third place is definitely achievable, particularly when you look at runs home:

Leicester: Palace, Arsenal, Bournemouth, Sheffield, Spurs
Chelsea: Watford, Palace, Sheffield, Norwich, Scum
United: Bournemouth, Villa, Southampton, Palace, Hammers

We have been gifted these opportunities before and totally shit the bed. Would much rather finish top 4 than rely on Europa League title.

We've also been missing pogba (injury) and bruno (not signed yet) when we had those opportunities to close the gap.

This will be different.
