Hmmm, thanks for sharing that brother. I actually haven't heard of that guy before.

I have over 1000 cars in my collection at the moment and I have a feeling it'll get to the point where I'll need a specialty room for them. I have a spreadsheet of all the cars I own, and the only ones I don't enter on it are the ones that I open which is less than 1%.

It's interesting, I can totally relate to some of the things he says. I too am fascinated by card art without actually being fascinated by the cars themselves. This is a prime example from today:

oh definitely mate.. just as much attention goes into the overall production as the cars themselves... though I must say, some of the cars in this image are awesome... the van and the Ghost Buster vehicle mainly

Yeah I've got that van but not the Ghostbusters version. I have 2 - 1 red and the other green.

As for the Ecto, I have it but a different variation (I got it from the Reject Shop for $5 2 years ago :tearsofjoy:)

You're talking real cars not diecast right?
Anything authentic Walkinshaw my bro.

I used to hide the fact my car is a Walkie, now I'll be decking it out.

PS speaking of diecast models, if you find a W427 VE Commodore in white can you let me know please. It will be a little mini-me of my car.

Thanks bro. I have found my Easter present lol
Anything for you brother :D

If you're ever in the city, head over to HobbyCo in the QVB, they've got stacks of Holdens there (ones that they use at Bathurst with sponsor tampos on them etc...).

Another one for the collection. Pulled this amplifier out of the bottom of an old 16mm film projector that had seen better days. Its 1950's so atleast 60 years old. Serviced it, added mods, now its a sweet guitar amp.

I actually forgot about it until now brother lol
Get them before they disappear bro :D

I just picked this 1:24 up today from Kmart - $29 - 1970 Chevelle SS

It was a BLOODY HARD TOSSUP because they have the 1969 one too... I could only choose the one though, so I got the 70 :(

Finally going through my 1000+ collection of Hot Wheels and sorting them in boxes. It’s amazing how many cars I want but didn’t realise I actually already had. I’ll be sorting them out by make or type (ie muscle cars, utes, Euro etc...) then putting in boxes and storing.

I love the S15s
Same. They retail for $8 each. I had to pay $30 to get those 2 - that's how in demand they are. It's mainly the fact that it's the same car but the card art varies - the prices for these things goes right up whenever that happens. I'll be holding onto those 2 for a while :grinning:

In this thread I mentioned sorting some of my Hot Wheels cars. Well... I spent the last hour or so doing that. Damn it feels good to come across a few you never knew you had :-)

Had to stop collecting records, just getting too expensive.
Thought Id start collecting OZ magazines seeing as I have a couple. Turns out there more expensive than collecting records now.
Maybe I should just start a rock collection.
