I hope the club reconsiders Ryan Matterson now that basically all the real talent is becoming unavailable. For the $500k he wants it's still a bargain.

I’d put Mitchell at fullback if we get him. No point having him at centre touching the ball 12 times a game. Guy needs to be involved and no better way then fullback. Force him to take the kick returns. Force him to run the ball 20+ times a game. Get him running 200m a game.

I know highly unlikely but cotric and Joey manu should have enquires made for.

fafita is a dream. Doubt we would even be considered for it. I’m thinking he’d take under at broncos or cash in at Souths. Don’t think we are realistic for his signature. But throw everything at him and figure out the financial later.

tommy turbo would be the perfect long term fit. But can never see him leaving manly (and they won’t let him go). His parents are involved in junior league. Northern beaches boys, club loves them.

If we miss out on the top level talent then we should look at the likes of frizell, Vaughn, arrows. Maybe consider the Uk props if hopefully tolman is let go.

another slim hope in wighton to run our attack. Are there any gun hookers coming through that aren’t in jail? Might be worth a dabble on.

I think we have enough in juniors coming through to get back on track with role players for 2021 and beyond. All we need is the 2-3 superstars that we have struggled to attract or keep in the last decade. And if the board and the coach and ceo can’t deliver on it (bj would be considered a seismic failure in my books) then they all must go together.

I’ll give the front office the benefit of the doubt for 2020. But if we don’t run out as top 4 favourites in 2021 then all must go.

we were told bleak times were ahead and it will get worse before it gets better. And we have been through some shit in the last 15 years since our last success. If they fuck this up then board, staff, players, coaches, ceo. Full clean out will be required.
The modern rugby league is built on TV exposure and corporate dollars
X-Factor players are a must to develop the teams appeal to the abovementioned
Prime example Taumalolo, we all said $1ml a year for 10 year is a no no...Do we still think so ???
Look at the state we are in since we lost all our X-FACTORS !!!

EXCLUSIVE: Look away Roosters fans – Latrell has been visiting Bulldogs officials at home

The Bulldogs have been secretly wooing Kangaroos and Sydney Roosters centre Latrell Mitchell with club powerbrokers hopeful they can convince him to sign at the Belmore club next week.

Fox Sports has learned Mitchell has held meetings with the Bulldogs at the home of a Canterbury-Bankstown official and the club has rolled out the red carpet to try and sign the two-time premiership winner.

Currently in New Zealand preparing to represent Australia against Tonga on Saturday, Mitchell will become a free agent for rival clubs to try and sign as of Friday.

If the Bulldogs can convince Mitchell to sign at Canterbury-Bankstown, it would rank as one of the great rugby league coups.

The interest from Canterbury-Bankstown first emerged during this year’s State of Origin series when a third-party acting on behalf of the Bulldogs approached Mitchell’s family.

At the time there were a variety of contracts discussed with one being a 10-year deal valued at around $1 million a season and another being a five-year option.

Bulldogs officials have since kept the lines of communication open with Mitchell and outlined what a marquee signing the Kangaroo centre would become at Canterbury.

The Roosters announced the re-signing of Kiwi Test centre Joseph Manu this week and are believed to have opened negotiations with Mitchell.

But it is unlike the back-to-back premiers to allow a star player they want to retain to become a free agent on the open market as of November 1.

There is a view from those close to Mitchell the Kangaroos centre is worth at least $1 million per season.

The Roosters are unlikely to be prepared to pay this much for a centre whereas the Bulldogs are cashed-up for 2021.

We will land no big signings those are the facts. We're going to have to recruit like Canberra have done, since this board will not find ways around the salary cap.

Given Turbos offer that's just come in from Manly, I would say the club will go all out for Mitchell and at very least be the highest bidder.

Fingers crossed they can team him up with Semi for 2021!

You have to ask yourself before November 1st.....
Why haven't Manly signed Turbo bro's?
Why Roosters haven't signed Mitchell?
Why Bronco's haven't signed Fifita?

These guy's are all willing to leave for money. If we were to miss out on one of these (there are others) then we have problems attracting the best players and that will be a major concern.
Turbos...got a $10m offer from the Beagles, reported today

Mitchell...apparently we’ve been negotiating, reported today

Fafita...now that Gillett has retired, Broncs will secure him quick smart, OR now that Surgess has retired he’ll go to Souffs

We are only possibly getting Mitchell (which I won’t be convinced of until I see him training with us).

What a load of FARKING BULLSHIT
The TELECRAP scum keeps on trying to implicate Canterbury in illegal negotiations
The result will keep Mitchell at the Rorters

What are you talking about? There's nothing illegal in talking to Latrell before Nov 1 you just cant get him signing on the dotted line before then.

Like I said hopefully he is being courted as a fullback. If he takes a liking to playing at the back and develop his game then he will definitely be worth the 1 million dollars price tag. And if we do sign him up and play him at fullback his boot will be a welcome addition. Excited for some midfield bombs he can put up.

also his restarts from the line drop out usually go 50+ meters. Can’t remember last time one of ours made half way :p

Yep, tastes just like cock!;)
Oh...,I was not aware of that and unfortunately have zero expedience in this area. I will need to rely on your expert opinion in this instance.

What ever happens happens. Whoever we get to wear our blue and white that’s fine by me
I don’t have high expectations like most on here as we are still rebuilding.
As some have said we are improving and 2020 will be a better year for us so bring it on
