I never played juniors but stormed into first grade on the back of signing up for bush league
I have a boyish smile and baby blue eyes
I kicked at 80%
I was centre of the year in a team that had the worst attack
I had the world at my feet, I could have been anything, people had me earmarked as an Australian fullback
So much so I had a 3x year 500k contract
I got ruined by a rookie coach who didn’t know how to use me and screwed me over
I retired young because I lost faith in the sport and I didn’t have the heart to play against my team in the nrl
I will be remembered as a lost jewel,
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain...
