Disappointing news about Renouf sounds like he will miss the majority of pre season.

Hopefully Holland can get fit and healthy so he can play well in NSW Cup for 2020 and earn a new contract at another club located far far away from the Bulldogs

That's so fucked for Renouf... hopefully Pay doesn't fuck him over as a result, hopefully he tells him that if he doesn't miss a beat in rehab / nutrition all preseason that the bench spot is still his to lose

16 weeks should have him back just after the new year.. still more than enough time to get him ready for round 1.

What's an Avulsion fracture of the foot Re Renouf?
Hopefully not one of those injuries that reoccur like dodgy knees and the like.

From memory it's when the fracture is near the ligament and part of the bone gets pulled away.

The problem is he misses out on getting smashed in pre Christmas fitness training and will be playing catch up.
true, but you'd think that 2 full months would be more than enough time for him to catch if he's willing.. That's if its 16 weeks.. if it ends up being 12, he'll be back late November early December, if he had surgery last week

That’s it. It’s really up to him. If he sticks to the rehab and doesn’t blow out on food he should be ready for round 1

Wonder how many of these injuries will be utilised as excuses for poor performance next year, also to justify removal of players.

Haven't we all agreed: NO EXCUSES 2020.
