The amount of people saying jmk is better after missing out on Api Is funny
Jmk is still learning to be a hooker, he's not a natural one and is not effective enough but has improved, but we need a natural hooker to come in and rotate and Api wouldve been perfect
There's no way we can go into next season with just jmk lol it's gonna be bad

People who believe JMK is the future have their head in the sand. That or they like being at the lower end of the ladder these days
Our only hooker for next year isn’t even a natural hooker lmfao what the fuck is this

JMK went short to Tolman on the line instead of spreading out to the right, where we had a two man overlap.. That was just one of the many poor reads last night.. Usually he has been better than that...

JMK reminds me of Segeyaro. He's great in short bursts. Bring him on late and he'll open the game up and destroy the opposition. But he's not an 80 minute hooker.

You can’t rely on JMK to be the number one hooker for a whole year. He’s still got so much in his game that needs work. He is a manufactured hooker and lacks the attacking instinct. Hooker is going to be a major problem next year unless we somehow manage to work something out.

Looks like we’ll have the same spine in 2020 and a similar squad. Destined for another bottom 4-6 finish

JMK needs to improve on try assists, missed tackles and penalties. He's not better, but he's younger and has been improving so the chance he continues to get better is high. If he can fix these holes he'll be better than Api. He's all we fucking have so who gives a shit, get on with it

JMK also has to improve his line engagements he only has 13 for the whole year. Just comparing that to other hookers who have around 50. That means he’s not drawing in any markers.

He is definitely improving but has more to do with his selection of passes and which side to go from dummy half. This tho is a halves issue also, by not commanding the ball. The other problem is guys like Tolman commanding too much ball and Tolman being a senior player looks like JMK is too scared not to give it to him.

When he kicked that 40/20 last night the first thing I thought was 'maturity'. He is coming along OK I think, sure not top shelf buy with game experience he has the potential to get there. How long it takes we will have to wait and see but I would like to think that he can get a mentor like Ennis, even call in Billy Johnston to give him some tips. I wonder if the club takes this approach because if they aren't we have no one in the club to help JMK go to the next level.
