this thread is about cheap brands that punch hard, could be electronics, tv’s, cars, whatever

I recently bought a high end LG microwave oven. Hundreds of dollars. After 2 months it gave up! I took it back to the good guys and they said they needed to send it away for repair as it’s under warranty

Anyhow needing a microwave to fill in the time, I went to Aldi and bought a $49 ambiosi microwave oven. If it lasts a few weeks until the LG is back then it’s done it’s job. Anyhow, when I opened the box the ambiosi looked pretty good quality, surprised me that it actually works as a microwave oven too. Actually it works amazingly well, I’m thinking the LG won’t make it back into the run on side when it’s fit to play.

The ambiosi is like Craig Johnson, called into a side because they couldn’t find enough players but given the opportunity impressed and went on to score goals in the FA cup final

The LG would be the Kieran Foran , plays a game then it’s out for 6 weeks

Which brands do you know that punch above their weight ?

Good thread, I like it!

About 10 years ago I had a 650 Hyosung motorbike. For the price I paid for it it went really well and never let me down.

Funny you mention Aldi. 5 years ago I bought $10 running shoes from Aldi, and to this day they've been the most comfortable and reliable running shoes I've ever had. Same can be said for the "Skins" I bought with the shoes at Aldi. Cost me no more than $10-20, and they well outlasted my $150 genuine skins branded tights from Rebel Sports.

About 15 years ago I had a 1 night stand with a girl I went to school with. At the time I had no condoms with me. I instead substituted with cling wrap. Saw the girl again later and no children resulted. So I will definitively vouch for cling wrap as a substitute for condoms.

I bought a $29 pair of bluedio Bluetooth earphones about 2-3 years back on eBay

They sound as good as my dr beats and 1/15th the price

At home I used the bluedio as they are as good if not better but if I’m out I use the brand names as I’m embarrassed to wear bluedio

They are cheap bikes but don’t trust them.

Same engine as a Suzuki SV.
Really??
I just thought it was a chines bike and wouldn’t trust it.
I’ve mainly had jap bikes and wouldn’t change unless I get a Harley.

Yeah, well thats what I was told anyway. Suzuki SV's are vtwin arent they?

Was good for a bit, then I moved to R6's.

I would love a Harley but they are so expensive.

Yeah I dunno about Aldi tv’s (bauhn) brand but their microwaves absolutely kick ass. It’s like a 90s turbo car, you think it’s got nothing and then all of a sudden hits you in the chops
