In 2004, Hazem scored 342 points alone - a record that stands to this day for most points by an individual in a season. Will the whole team beat it this year? We only beat it last year when in the last 3 games we threw Des' game plan out the window.

2017 after 12 rounds 178 points
2018 after 12 rounds 183 points average 15.25

If we continue how we are going we will beat it by 24. It's gonna be close.

What have we come to?

Hazem can add another record of outscoring a whole NRL team in a season

This record will never be broken. Crocker may overtake Hazem soon but he's never cracked 300 points in a single season, similarly with Smith but he hasn't ever cracked 200 points (maybe a couple times).

Haz is the greatest point scorer this league has ever and will ever see.

I think you're missing the point here, mate.

The thread starter is simply asking whether our team collectively in 2019 will surpass Haz's score of 342 points in a year.

He had Shifty kicking out wide to him every week, get Foran kicking to Smith who is fast and tall.

Yes, He’s definitely one of the greats of the club, up there with Turvey and Ba. Rejected a big offer from Souths to stay with the club he loves.
Also one has to mention how mentally tough he was to go through the summer heat in preseason training while fasting and keeping up with the rest of the boys.

Not a bad benchmark to set up a challenge for the team. And to remind us just how good Hazem was. Some people just think of his goal kicking and overlook the fact that Darrel Halligan was the club’s goal kicker for a number of years when Hazem played. It was his ability to score tries that made him such a great winger.

Haz was also a great defender and read plays very well which is why he took so many intercepts throughout his career. My favourite Dog of all time!
