Put what you want he’s played his last game for us, (supposably half a game) he’ll get “injured”
In the next game and won’t be back for the year. Fuck off

MM: So, I just nailed Christ to the cross! See you in Leichhardt!

I hope they lose Brooks and these 2 Muppets become the halves pairing for them next year lol disaster, I can't get over how terrible they were as a pairing last year for us, not that our halves this year are doing any better lol but just sayin

May as well go now so we can front a couple of players and have more to spend next year. We are getting the spoon anyway.

Mbye has the gift of the gab. He talked a mean game and that’s about it. Fake it til you make it. He didn’t cut it as a half and was half a fullback also. We may not like where we are at the moment but we need to clear the decks and move forward. Send him off before June 30 and let’s get on with it

No. Hill is using clever wording. He did ask for a release. IF he could get his current contract. Tigers are paying a fair chunk of it
Was on radio this afternoon, tigers paying $700k of $900k contract, for next year only,I think good result for us,I don’t dislike Moses the person but he really has underperformed,at our club

Andrew Hill ... another lieing full of shit CEO.... Wonderful.

Can't one of these slimey ***** actually just speak honestly??
Wtf are you talking about mate.

Do not infer what any of these guys say. Take it literally. We said that we were open to discussions but aren’t actively shopping. Tigers came along we listened and a deal was made.

These are dark days... As bad as salary cap scandal and coffs harbour rape allegations??
So frigging depressing.
Surely whoever is responsible can and should be named and shamed... Des, raelene or dibb... Or a combination. FFS!!!!!!!

Wasn’t he the next Thurston lol now he will plod for the remainder of the season
The second he was gifted a big money contract based on the potential for him to be good, that potential went down the tube, because in all honesty Mbye seems not to give a shit about anything. He is something of a passenger. If he has a good game thats a circumstantial thing. If he has a shit game thats also circumstantial. If he had the desire to be among the best players in the game he could be among those origin hopefuls. As it stands he's occasionally an exciting player if the ball bounces right for him.

Another cancer cut from this club. Tigers will regret this, the guy is a dud of the highest order.

Hopefully Woods is next followed by Foran who looks like he will die of old age before his contract expires.
Agreed about the cancer being cut. The sad thing is that either he's delusional enough to think he's actually a big contributer, or he's just a better self promoter than a footballer. Either way his departure from the club means that we're one step closer to building a squad that will try to compete.

Bum chums back together again :grinning: I still can't believe dogs fans applauded Reynolds as he ran on for the Tigers. Are we going to do the same for Mbye???
What Reynolds lacked in talent he more than made up for in his desire to win for us. Mbye pretty much achieved all his goals in the game when we started paying him like an established star. He never had to become an established star and now that he's leaving for marquee money he will never have to establish himself as a star.

Does anyone know what the figures are? And what we are going to do cash we save? i.e who are we signing. Please be either Barba or Norman. Hopefully both.
If we find three or four players that have a desire to be stars and win games at least one of them will probably make up for a gifted athlete who only wants to take the field and fulfil his contractual obligations while not breaking a sweat.

Andrew Hill ... another lieing full of shit CEO.... Wonderful.

I got the impression from what he said that we weren't actively shopping players around, but we probbly informed some of them that if they were able to negotiate deals that would allow us to piss them off without it costing us an arm and a leg we would not stand in their way.

Regardless of whether Hills statement was entirely bullshit, It's just my opinion that Mbye will coast through every season bar the one when his contract expires and do the bare minimum. Even if we're paying some of his contract out, this is a good result for the club if it means we can pick up a slightly more talented group of youngsters than $100k would buy that actually want to play good football. As far as I can see Mbye was only ever keen to make good money. If he was capable of making the same type of money for knitting, he'd be sitting next to a fire with a ball of wool right now.

I imagine the conversation went like this.

MM- "I can't fucking believe it Josh, I had three good games to start the year, then went into cruise control. My contract isn't expiring this year so trying is optional. The Dogs told me I'm free to leave. But here's where it gets real interesting. The Tigers are willing to pay me overs when they can clearly see I don't give a shit about footy. Silly ***** think they can make me keen to play. I'm on big money for another 4 years now and I didn't even have to bust a nut for a season to earn it till I'm 28 years old"

JR "The recruitment guys at the Tigers are fucking nuts bro. I told them that if they wanted me to leave the Bulldogs I'd have to earn $200k more than the Dogs were offering or I wouldn't even think about it and they coughed up the money, Hahahaha"
