As ive said previous, Brian Smith is the best man to come coach the dogs

Look what he is doing at the warriors as a consultant.

Dean pay needs a bit of work, brian smith is great mentor.

To me dean pay seems too relaxed..

Brian smith ir michael mcguire for some up temp coaching.

If Brian Smith is the answer you're asking the wrong question.

I do think Pay needs a experienced assistant like a Henry, Toovey or Potter though.

I think Neil Henry is the man to help dig us out of this mess.
Wouldn't hate Toovey either. He was extremely hard done by.

Shoudn't Andrew Farrah be contributing something?
I don't think Gus would let Hook use the bench the way Pay has been utilising it.

If I was picking a coach for the Dogs, I'd go with Geoff Toovey. Tough, old school type of coach who can bring aggression and grit into a team.

It's probably not that crazy an idea. I think Smith's says as a coach ate over but he would have something to offer a coach.

The question is...Does Pay think he needs help ?
I have said Hagan would be and should be the assistant coach many times before,
But if he is not interested I don't mind Smith as a tactical coach ONLY.
The biggest problem is our Australian front-rowers, they seem to be disinterested.
I hope I am wrong but their body language told me that since the first round,
To me they seem passionless and unhappy about something.

He clearly DOES need help.
Definitely not Brian Smith. Neil Henry 100x better.

Coming from an insider at Manly ( Toovey is a bone-head as a coach )

everyones arguing like we supporters have a choice... get used to what we have because management seem to think they done well getting pay and I highly doubt any changes or additions to our coaching staff will be made anytime soon.

We should have signed Cleary when we had the chance I don’t think Madge would come and be a overseer he is a coach too head strong
Changing the coach ain’t going to fix the problem in the short but once the cash is free I wanna see who this management target
This years mess started last year when the board fucked with Hasler and pussy footed around sacking him and getting a new coach who could have statigised in who they wanted to sign etc
Instead they made Hasler sign a pre agreement shit let him resign absolute rubbish to back ended deals and then gets sacked due to fans pressure and now as a result will have to pay him out and turn over basically the whole front office
Deep down most people know it was gonna be a tough season and this is the results of the last front office
Like I’ve stated we have no cap money to spend on anyone because they didn’t sack Hasler when they had the chance
Once they locked Hasler into the argreement in April last year look who he resigned
If they shead 2 million worth of talent on these inflated contracts no club will pay the full value of certain players contract so we will be stuck paying half there wage to go other clubs and maybe flourish or turn to shit which still comes outta our cap
So collectively they Hasler and the last board fucked is for the next 3 years
Cause I know if I was those players resigned and they promised 500k and they worth 300k there not gonna accept any less
Cause why a huge majority of us were trying to sack in our foresight he had a big F YOU Cannon in the back ground

Might be a good idea if i stayed off the Kennel this weekend.
Yeah we are in a shithouse position but some of the stuff being served up here today is laughable. :tearsofjoy:
