We need someone like Michael McGuire (ex South's coach) as assistant. Pay is still learning his trade and needs an experienced assistant.

Makes sense having an experienced head next to him thats why it probably wont happen

The hardest thing to coach is defence, Pay got handed a team with amazing defence even when they were losing every week. Somehow he managed to fuck that up without improving the attack.

When we signed him a few people on here pointed out he was the Raiders defence coach and their defence has been shit for as long as he has been there. We were called negative and given excuses about bringing back the Culture. We criticised him for not using the trials to assess player fitness, we were called idiots because apparently the players did a lot of cardio in the off-season.

2 Mistakes he has made? Changed our defence and thought a couple of jogs would be enough to have us match it with other teams. Canberra with 14 players and significantly less possession looked far fresher than our 17 players.

First Mistake pay made was saying he could coach. He seems to be clueless.
Our Roster is not that bad, it has Foran, NSW reps and a very Talented Mbye....look what cleary is doing with the tigers who a far inferior roster.

Ummm. A genius. He almost ran for 100mts & morris got 0. But yes was a fluke who knows what where or why. Poor guy has a squad of 30 but only 10 have ability.

Our roster is pretty poor, but not as poor as we are playing. That’s the disappointing thing. Even when we lost games last year, we weren’t getting flogged. We looked hopeless in attack, but we defended tenaciously. We need a major clean out, but I also think the board should start sounding out Michael McGuire for next year.

I feel like Pay is trying, and the harder he tries, the worse it’s getting. They players start to lose faith and it all turns to shit. It doesn’t look like a very happy camp at the moment.

2)Use of the bench.
3)Adam Elliot in the first grade squad and other questionable selections.
4)No progress in players fitness over off-season.

I know he has Hasler's squad but look what he's doing with it.

The forwards are the problem.
Guys who seemed to have potential like Elliott, Fualalo & Taulau are playing like shit.
Jackson & Woods way below their best.
How we judge Pay will be predicated on if he can get these guys playing better.
Eastwood looked ok running with the ball last night.
But he looks way overweight.
If Pay can get good minutes out of Eastwood that may help with our attack.

Obviously don't know the game very well and the importance of the dummy half who starts every play and touches the ball more than anyone in the game. Can't even pass smooth and crisp. Honestly some people have NFI.
Just back it up with some facts, who wears number 9 in the NRL and has a worse passing game than Michael Lichaa?
I'm curious, I can't think of one. Enlighten me. NFI
