And your point is? He wasn't starting for Penriff this year and others performed better than him last season, everything else is irrelevant.
You have a very simplistic view of things. Cartwright should've been starting at the Panthers. He is WAY better than any backrower they have. Shit coach didn't know how to use him. Just because a player has 1 bad year doesn't mean he's finished.

Cleary and Maloney had Panthers halves locked out, then again Cartwright is better in the second row in my opinion.

Over at PantherPride a poster reckons that someone on Twitter (yeah I know a long bow to draw) stated Cartwright getting sick of malicious damage to his home and threats, so moved north.

And again that's absolutely irrelevant. He didn't perform last season and he certainly wasn't a lock in starter for this season, and that's why they were happy to release him. It doesn't matter if he's better or not, it doesn't matter if you think the coach is shit, it doesn't matter if you think he should start. He wasn't a lock in to start for the Panferrs and that was the point of my entire post.

Except that wasn't why he was released.

So the Panthers happily released a certain starter and a player they valued highly a month out from the comp? Lol.

Something’s off the field happen that take place. It wouldn’t of happened overnight either mate. The x panther coach now current titans coach would know the story inside out.

They agreed that for his mental health he needed to get out of Sydney.

"Mental health" ohh yh sure lol. He wasn't performing and he wasn't a certain starter for Penrith, try and twist it as much as you want but that's what it comes down to. If he was a certain starter he would still be at Penrith.

So they release him a month out from the season? Usually the time coaches have a fair idea on what their top 17 is going to look like..lol c'mon. Issues or no issues, if he was a starter and management still wanted him then he would still be at Penrith.

You're sounding like a moron now. His ex comitted suicide in the area. You have literally no idea how he is feeling or what he is going through. I believe the story unless proven otherwise.

And again all of that is aboslutely not relevant to my original post. He wasn't a certain starter and he didn't perform last season and that's why Panthers were happy to let him leave. The reasons are irrelevant to my post.

Cartwright is no way near the player he was in 2016, plus he is not better than CHN and Yeo. He is a horrible defender and has a pretty shitty attitude who was affecting the squad's morale.

If Gould couldnt knock sense into Cartwright the only option left would be Bellamy.

Cartwrights career has just gone further downhill

What about Suli? Suli only supports my point. He wasn't a starter at the tigers and Cleary was unhappy with him so Suli eventually was released. If Cleary was happy with him and he was a starter then he would still be at the Tigers.

If the Tigers don't put in a solid effort this year he may be out of the job... yet again. Hasn't even cracked a 50% winning percentage with any coached team.

Suli has been injured, that's why he didn't start.

Every game he was fit for, since debut, he has started.

I'm talking about this coming season, not last year. Marsters and Milne are apparently Clearys favoured centre pairing, again because he wasn't happy with where Suli was at.
