Fanatec Clubsport handbrake.

Converts between drift and regular mode :grinning:.

Mines still in parts from the move, and missing a PC lol. Got the monitor and that's it. Can't afford to build the gaming PC for it at moment.

Whats the point of dual hydraulic? Mainly from the perspective that it's not realistic and there's only one handbrake button in any game.

Kinda seems pointless.

Unless you can program one as a straight up/down shifter.

Ah just read up on it, so it's a dual hydraulic dual handle brake. You can get dual hydraulic single handle ones too.

Seems pointless and if anything would be more annoying in an actual race car situation.

You'd wire it up exactly the same as a dual cylinder one. So both cylinders would hit the same single button effectively.

I'm getting to like AOC's gear a lot recently. Quite reasonable too.

You could either go (expensive as fuck) and go 144Hz 4K monitors, but expect about $1000+ a shot.

Else you could go something like a 27" 1080p screen which I got under $250 the other day.
Or like a 34" AOC curved for < $1000

All depends, but try and get three of the same else it'll be a pain.

AOC and Samsung are the only 2 monitors I'd consider these days. ASUS and LG aren't bad though.

Biggest thing is your budget. You can blow a lot of money on a monitor, but what happens when you go say 32" 4K 144Hz, and then in a years time cannot get the same monitor/size/specs.

If you intend going triples, save and buy them all at the same time.

Look for something with a thin frame. Don't bother with 4k. They'll struggle when running 3 monitors. Just run either 1440p or 1080p.

Bought this one the other week (because of the inputs - VGA/DVI/DisplayPort/HDMI) for my test lab setup: https://www.jw.com.au/aoc-m2870vq-28-mva-widescreen-led-monitor

I bought this one a while ago... it's the single LCD I'm going to be using for my racing sim when it's eventually done: https://www.jw.com.au/aoc-ag322fcx-72-31-5-144hz-curved-freesync-gaming-led-monitor

Main desktop is 2 x Samsung S24D590PL's side by side. Bloody awesome monitors and look super sexy! Few years old now.

Another nice one is this one:
https://www.jw.com.au/aoc-i2777fq-27-ips-led-monitor
or this: https://www.mwave.com.au/product/asus-mx27aq-27-2k-wqhd-frameless-ips-monitor-asus-eyecare-ab60604

Both frameless/near frameless.

Another option is this freesync curved AOC: https://www.mwave.com.au/product/ao...4hz-freesync-va-curved-gaming-monitor-ac09907
Or the Samsung equivalent: https://www.mwave.com.au/product/sa...quantum-dot-led-curved-gaming-monitor-ab95228

and when only the best will do: https://www.mwave.com.au/product/sa...ntum-dot-qled-freesync-gaming-monitor-ac06556

dont want to blow right out
That's what HE said!

I use a Samsung as my main monitor. It's an excellent monitor but has some viewing angle issues. It also has freesync which was great until I bought an nvidia card.

With monitors the main cost is resolution. Things like g-sync and freesync also increase the price as well as size but resolution is the primary driver. If you're planning to run 3 monitors then just stick with 1080p. It's cheaper and it's all you need for that.

Racing sims are never done ive had my rig a few days now just haven't even done a full lap. Got to rig up a solid steering mount and a floor plate with quick release so i can change race pedals to flight pedals.
Spent the last 3 hours just assigning the buttons for the warthog stick fuck its a solid piece 3 kilo stick 3 kilo throttle. No buttons on the stick were working we took the whole thing apart , where the pins connect dropped down.
Got to make throttle mount and stick mount .still got another 2 days of fucking around before ill give it a propper run

I picked up a fairly cheap Hotas that has about 30 buttons on it. Tried to play Elite Dangerous with it and the VR headset on. Constantly taking the headset off to see what buttons I'm pushing. Gave up and decided to spend time learning ED with the Hotas then play in VR. 6 months later I'm still trying to figure out how to play that bloody game.
