Animals you like vs animals you loathe

Domestic or not, pet worthy or not, what are animals you like vs ones you can't stand?

I love dogs. Nearly all dogs. I hate poodles or anything associated with that breed of dog. I can't stand those little shits. They are basically walking barks. And have you heard their bark? Sounds like a freaking squeaky scream.

I love Siberian Huskies, Jack Russells, German Shepards, Staffys (both American and British), and obviously British Bulldogs.

I don't like cats at all, however I don't mind the Siamese cat provided it has either blue or teal eyes.

Away from the domestic scene, I love wolves. Gray and Brown mainly. I don't mind the whites too much, but not very fond on the black ones.

I also like Tigers - White and Siberian, but the Black Panther would be my preferred big cat. They're like the ninjas or the large cat family.

Horses - I like white ones, don't mind the browns. HATE the Broncos those. Talk about an ass.

Lizards - I love all of them. I don't know what it is about those little serpants but they're damn cute. Geckos - prefer the plain greens ones more than the rest.

Not much of a bird person as they make a big mess and a loud racket.

Fish are exciting to look at for 5 minutes. Plus they can be very hard to raise as if you don't have a good balance they'll end up killing or eating each other. I would love it if I could put a bunch of different sea creatures in a tank and have them live in harmony, including lobster, crabs and yabbis, and little sharks (the ones about 7 cm long) but it'll be a freaking mini marine war.

Don't really care about rodents, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs or any of those guys.

I like pretty much every animal as long as it has a decent attitude towards me. I can only think of a couple of things i hate and they're insects rather than animals. Wasps are little assholes TBH. If you get too close to their nests (doesn't have to be very close at all) a single wasp will sting you 7+ times while you try to get away and the fuckers are too elusive to kill without a can of flyspray. White tail spiders are the only spider that i squash. If they didn't have the potential to carry a bacteria that will cause slow rot to you around the area they bite I'd trap them in a jar and remove them without squishing them. But they do and i hate them. Cocroaches are another of my hated insects. Once they infest your house it's hard to get rid of them without doing a full bug bomb in your house and even that isn't going to guarantee they will be eradicated. Mosquitos are also on my hated list. The sneaky fuckers can drive me nuts.

Cats are okay but generally bastards. They do their own thing. Russian Blues and British Shorthairs are kinda cute.

But I'm more a dog person.

A lady near us walks her cat around the block on a leash a few times a week.

Made a joke earlier that if I had to get a cat... I'd get a Maine Coon... lol you can figure out why

In Fiji and FNQ you get them around quite a bit (moreso in Fiji). I don't mind the little gecko things. They are kinda cute. But not in my bedroom.

Other lizards freak me out (see snakes and rodents).

Snakes I can appreciate and admire... as long as they are behind glass. Freak the shit outta me in public. Even non venomous ones.

When I was in school a house a few doors from where I was living had a friggin 2m long Eastern Brown come down the driveway. I was like "yeah fuck that"... and did the bolt back home.

Don't really care about rodents, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs or any of those guys.

Rabbits are kinda cool I've had one as a pet before.

Rodents (mice/rats) I cannot stand. Freak me out like snakes and lizards and spiders, and some insects.

Crocodiles and sharks (as long as behind glass it's all good). That said seeing crocs in the wild in Port Douglas was a bucket list item ticked. Amazing creatures.

Likewise swimming with lemon and tipped reef sharks and turtles off the Great Barrier Reef.

Love dogs. Working dogs especially. Have never, not had a dog.
Love some birds. Cockies, King parrots and kookaburras, and rosellas fascinate the fuck out of me. The local ones eat out of our hands. Fuck ibis.
Love lizards. All of them. We've got heaps here. Water dragons, bearded dragons, bluetounges, leaf tailed geckos.
Hate cats. Belligerent, lazy, good for nothing, *****.
Spiders too. Fuck spiders.

Allright here we go. I fucking hate midjies and mosquitos. Fucking arseholes. Never met one that i like.
I find snakes fascinating, but they make my skin crawl!! I accidently stood on a red belly that was sneaking around our chook pen when i was a kid, so i think this is why. But they are pretty amazing. Did you know that anacondas are the only reptiles that dont lay eggs? They have live waterbirths.
Humans are also pretty shit. Lol most are too concerned with their own self importance, and unlike almost every other species they dont know how to live in harmony with their environment. They just continually fuck it up and then wonder what they can do to fix it.

Now for the ones i love. Pretty much all of them. Lol particularly animals from the sea. Have you ever had a close encounter with a dolphin, manta ray, whale shark or whale??? Wow!!!! Incredible. I have only ever seen one whale shark, but i was on a high for days. I have also only ever seen one minky whale while diving, but again i was on a high for days. Seen plenty of humpbacks from the boat, even migaloo the albino. I have also seen pilot whales and killer whales in patagonia. Incredible creatures.
I am yet to see dolphins while diving. I have seen plenty while surfing in my younger days though. I have had them surf the same wave, and come up to breath just metres from me.
Manta rays, and any big ray are incredible to see. So amazimgly graceful!! Especially oceanic manta rays. They can have a wingspan of up to 7m wide. Theyre like a small plane. They are also negatively bouyant so they always have to move.
Sharks are also one of the most incredible yet misunderstood creatures on the planet. They are also likely one of the most important, since their presence maintains a balance in the most important ecosystem on the planet, our oceans.
The oceans dictate and control our weather, and act as the airconditioning for our planet. The ocean also absorbs 2/3 of our co2 emissions, and without this they estimate that we would have an average earth temp of 50 degrees celcius.
Sharks are the apex predator in the sea and without them the whole balance is destroyed and the delicate balance will be destroyed causing a massive breakdown in our oceans ecosystem. So yeah, sharks are pretty fucking important. Lol
I also love big cats, monkeys, birds, and pretty much everything else.

That video was awesome. I have seen loads of pictures like this on instagram. Whales helping seals etc.
Just to let you know though, dont worry about the cat, the nemo is not real. Lol
