I am still sweating the Dyscarnate album pretty hard.
Ahh yes. I forgot about that album. The new Decapitated album is pretty good too but you generally get roasted in the metal community if you mention them after their arrest.

Another one I forgot. Myrkur. Black Metal isn't usually my thing but this album is an amazing blend of folk metal and black metal

And somehow I also forgot the classic metal sound of Iced Earth

Rose tattoo have a bigger following in Europe than Australia. They have done some pretty big shows in Germany
I knew they were pretty big over there, but just thought they were an unusual fit?

I know those Europeans love a bit of old school rock though...

On another note, I see Carnivore are playing - added the AD to their name.

Lol at anyone who is trying to replicate Peter "the beast" Steele.

On another note, if anyone likes a good Podcast, the last 6 episodes of "The Jasta Show" have been:

Alex Skolnick
Vernon Reid
Dave Mustaine
Rex Brown
M Shawn Crahan
Rob Flynn

So much cool content/stories in there...

You'll thank me later ;) or not, enjoy!

Friday annoys me. I wanted to see Nails and Nofx, but I wanted to see Arch Enemy more just 'cause I've never seen them before. Will probably do Sui's on Thursday

Putting together a play list of the best classic rock tracks (with a little hard rock/metal mixed in for good measure). Here's what I have so far. Need some other tracks to put in there:

- "Carry on my wayward son" by Kansas
- "Hurt" by Johnny Cash
- "Tom Sawyer" by Rush
- "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath
- "All along the watchtower" by Jimmy Hendrix
- "Sunshine of your love" by Cream
- "Don't stop me now" by Queen
- "Hallowed be thy name" by Iron Maiden
- "Holy Diver" by Dio

I'm looking for tracks that you don't hear every day on Triple M. So basically no ACDC, or at least more obscure ACDC tracks.
