Boys fkkk it there's no point signing a coach who hasn't proven himself, dessie is on his very last chance if things don't change in the next 10 rounds next year he won't be our coach simple as that. He's got foran the player he's been wanting for God knows how long now he's got him. Dib has re-signed him because he got foran and woods soo if dessie has a game plan in mind that will work with a skilled half that we haven't had in a long time than I believe foran will make a difference and obviously having mbye at 9 or a new hooker will see a complete different game plan next year. Having a good hooker and a good half makes a big difference but we only have one more issue that is the fullback position. Spewing if only we signed tedesco.

Insincere fat liar. What's really disgusting is he pretends to be a good Christian by attending church
But doesn't everyone pretend to be a good christian by attending church and then acting like arseholes the other 6 days?

Seriously if Des was capable of a new gameplan than why hasn't he done it? Was his plan all along to just bide his time and make us mediocre UNTIL his boy Foran finally says yes and he can fulfil this magic plan that was missing just once piece all along......comon man.

Lebanese call it the game of bulls because they dont even have a translation for the words "rugby league".

Thats how far out of touch we are.

Gary McIntyre was putting together a rival ticket in 2008 but pulled the pin once he found out he would be running against Mortimer and Lamb.
"I wasn't going to run against two blokes whom I revere as champion players of this club," McIntyre said.

His son was appointed the ceo of Canterbury Leagues Club 2012. He resigned before the end of 2012 because of the nepotism that permeates this club stopped him from effecting change.

Mortimer was quoted as saying "the only fault I have with Gary is he is too passionate about the Bulldogs".

Fuck these self preservationists off and bring back the Hughes and McIntyres.
Great idea. Let's bring back the bloke who single handedly cost us the 2002 premiership by systematically rorting the salary cap. Perhaps him as Chairman again and Hughes who returned his life membership and continues to snipe at the club every chance he gets will make an unbeatable team. Just not one that will last in the NRL.

You've got it out of order. We missed Teddy then he re-signed Hoppa. In any event Hoppa would be a great centre.

Dib should never allowed the backflip to happen.
Short of electro brain therapy I don't think you can stop someone from exercising free will. The chooks offered him a lot more than we had available. Not much you can do about that.

What are you talking about? Kimmorley came to us in the latter stages of his career. Played above and beyond while he was with us. Even played with a fractured jaw or eye when shouldn't have. He retired, worked for us as an assistant coach and then got boned when Des moved in. He's always been a champion player, an outstanding person and never bagged the club.

Salary cap compliance was murky waters even before the Super League war. We were amongst many clubs rorting the cap.

Noad and Peponis stabbed the Hughes family in the back and even went a step further and tried to portay Graeme Hughes as a drunk talking out of school in email to Gallop and when Gallop tried to reprimand Graeme in a email, without evidence and based on hearsay thats when shit hit the fan.

Also noteworthy that the Bulldogs settled out of court in Garry Hughes favour for wrongfull dismissal after 2002.

The Dogs did the wrong thing by the Hughes clan not the other way around bud. The Hughes have only ever had the best intentions for the dogs and Peter Moore is their uncle so it was always going to be an emotional departure.

Noad was apart of the four man board that handed out the 2002 punishment and then oversees the worst retention and recruitment period I have ever witnessed.

McIntyre was also responsible for scraping together the core of our playing group that went on to win the 2004 GF btw.

He got sacked by Des. What was he supposed to do sit outside belmore with a tin cup and a beanie?

Yes and hughes is still banging the drum about 2002 isn't he, so it's not dead yet. McIntyre destroyed our club with his and the boards greed. To this day we carry the scars of his mismanagement. Whenever any team breaches the salary cap who gets mentioned in the same breath? I can't get through any sort of conversation with anyone about footy even now where at some point 2002 comes up. The 2004 team was the same one as 2002 except they all took paycuts. Today they would have all been sacked and we would'v competed for the spoon so don't sugar coat it. As for being stabbed in the back, well it's all good and well to be a revisionist but someone had to go in order for the club to dig itself out of the hole it found itself in and based on the information of the time the only way out was for someone to go and as Hughes was in charge of the camp it was him. Wrongful dismissal is a catch all based on due process not on whether or not someone doesn't do their job and any way you package it up someone wasn't doing their job on that camp to keep the players behaviour in check.

I'm heartened by the fact the board took its time extending hasler for a further 2 years.
Had they rushed maybe they would of went for the lifetime extention.
Imagine that payout. Billions!!!!!

Dibs sounds like that propagandist Iraqi politician. You know the one that was denying the fall of Baghdad whilst American tanks were rolling in the background?
