Honestly we started off well, I saw good signs at the start but we just couldn't score. That really took the confidence and energy out of the boys which lead to newcastle scoring a try. Second half, newcastle came out firing and were able to score two tries and while I was lowkey hoping we would lose big because surely Hasler would have to be sacked and the crowds and players would probably fire up (like the panthers game even though garvey threw a weak as punch), Montoya and Mbye were able to score two good tries and Holland had two solid conversions. So my 3 2 1 today is:
3: Mbye (his dummy half work was much better than Lichaa's and we finally saw him run)
2. RFM (this guy was dominating the knights and I hope Des keeps playing him for the rest of the year)
1. Tied between Holland (some good conversions and didn't really do much wrong today. Don't really want Stanley in the team tbh and would rather Lee come back in over Stanley and Holland but if he's kicking goals like that and he has been scoring lots of tries, can't really see why he wouldn't get a spot if Stanley is injured again) and Montoya (scored a great try and should have scored another if Stanley passed it. Also good under the high ball and did no wrong.)
That being said Frawley and Stanley had below average to bad games imo and Saunders didn't have the best game but he was on debut. I rate Tualau over him if only one of the new guys could stay in the team.
