Lichaa was our worst player in 2016 IMO. He improved a bit at first this year, but doesnt look like hes capable of getting a lot better. Mbye looked better at hooker and hasnt played there for years (so will get better there). Getting rid of Lichaa solves a few problems, and gives Mbye a role hes good at and worth a lot of the money we pay him (and allows Frawley to be in the team).

The problem is Lichaa is the odd one out.

Reynolds needs to be #6.

Frawley needs to be #7 as he compliments Reynolds as did Hodkinson. Two very similar players Frawley and Hodkinson in many ways.

Mbye was very impressive at #9.

The only question Des should be trying to answer is who to play at # 1 considering all 3 of Hopoate, Abbey and Morris have all done a good job at fullback.

My concern about Mbye at hooker (esp compared to 5/8) was the defensive load. But he was pretty solid on that department.

We might want to try out a Frawley Mbye combination given Reynolds isn't a sure thing for next season, but you'd have to be earmarking some money to keep Reynolds at this stage, and be finding that from Lichaa's current money.
