Dugan is clearly the most talented in that group. I still doubt changing fb solves fuck all though. Rather a halfback or hooker if we are shopping.
Just lol @ Dugan being the most talented. Dugan would be the least talented if anything...both Teddy and Bird have much better ball skills compared to Dugan that completely lacks in that department.

If Tedesco becomes a Bulldog in our current format does he become our version of Shaun Johnson, undoubtedly electric but too relied upon in attack?

Teddy for mine. a lot of big stars had major injury issues when they were young and grew out of them, e.g. sbw Benji and Jonathan Thurston to name a few.. so I wouldn't be concerned about his injuries just yet.. but his speed is such and asset especially in a team full of sloth's..

According to who?
I saw it in an interview with Bird on fox sports news 2 weeks ago. He said he has to consider all options first.

Bird as a complete footballer...if purely as a 1 teddy. But for a million bird. He offers more. Fullback centre 5/8 and backrow. I see nick kosef in him.

I like James Tedesco as a person. There's something about Jack Bird that I don't like.

Although I feel Bird is a better footballer allround, would help us more and would be more reliable with injuries.

I'm a big fan of Tedesco but I worry how much work he'd have to get through. We see when Moses and Brooks aren't playing well he generally has quiet(er) games. Bird would give us an aggressive and confident presence at fullback who can chime in with playmaking duties.

Bird just pips Tedesco for mine..... Unless we were to get a decent halfback
I picked teddy,
But on reflection, the injury issue with him is a problem

I just like his attitude better

I don't know what it is about bird
But he comes across to me as trouble in the making

Who honestly really cares about recruitment while des is still at belmore? Just a waste of thought tbh.

I can see how bird may have it over teddy. Teddy is a specialist fullback. Where as bird can play 5 eight, centre and fullback. But I think because we're lacking a specialist fullback and blinding speed at the back teddy should get the offer if we were thinking of it. Bird would be a great addition but he'd need a specialist halfback so he can run around at 5 eight. That's how I see it anyway

Good points, the specialist fullback argument is something I struggled with

What do you mean struggle with? As in you don't know why we need a specialist or?
As in my preference for picking Bird.

I'm critical of Des playing a bunch of guys out of position at the moment therefore I'm a hypocrite for wanting Bird at the club to play Fullback

Tough choice between the versatile Bird, or the elusiveness of Tedesco. Tedesco would be a wiser choice.

Dugan, can enjoy his plane ride to the UK.

Hahaha I get ya.
I just see birdy more a 5/8 or centre rather than a fullback. He just doesn't suit fullback lol.
I made a comment yesterday which it seems people ignored however it's a very intelligent observation on my behalf.
I feel like by us making the grand final in 2014 des seemed to think fuk a rockstar fullback or rockstars in any position we just need plodders and we'll get the job done. Hence the continuation of 2014 structures and recruitment retention.
