Really perplexing how people stand here in the Kennel and say Des is crap because he has had the star roster and achieved nothing (when in reality that’s consistent Finals and grand finals).
Tell me more about this Star team we supposedly have?
I don’t see a star team at all. I see a team with a below average backline and an above average forward pack.
You equal that out and you have an average team. With good coaching, that has jumped us above the equilibrium And into the top 60th percentile % of teams.
Lets look at our team the way I see it;
BROWNE, Tim - Fringe first grader at best at any club.
EASTWOOD, Greg - Brisbane reject, Des has got max value out of him
FAITALA-MARINER, Raymond - Fringe first grader at best at any club.
GRAHAM, James (c) - One of the few genuine stars
HOLLAND, Kerrod - Gun junior, could be a future Australian rep but still a rookie
HOPOATE, Will - Parramatta reject, doesnt play sundays, slow, cant read
JACKSON, Josh - Above average solid first grade player, could be more
KASIANO, Sam - Novelty act. Good at what he does, but what he does is 20 minutes. Hes a benchie
KLEMMER, David -Above average solid first grade player, only getting better
LICHAA, Michael - Worst hooker in the competiton, even dogs fans hate his samoan ass
MBYE, Moses - Hard to rate, but nevertheless, hes virtually an untested rookie in THE key position
MORRIS, Brett - Best days are behind him. always injured
MORRIS, Josh - Above average solid first grade player
O'HANLON, Pat- Hasnt cracked first grade in any club more than a game at a time
PERRETT, Lloyd -Hasnt cracked first grade in any club more than a game at a time
PERRETT, Sam- whilst solid, hes a roosters reject and low level first grader at best at any club.
PHILLIPS, Tyrone - never really done much
REYNOLDS, Josh - Hard worker, Des gets max value but limited in range and unintelligent on his decisions
RONA, Curtis- disinterested winger, good finisher, but low impact position
STANLEY, Chase- always injured, reject at many clubs, very lucky to have a contract
TOLMAN, Aiden (vc) - Average first grade player
WILLIAMS, Tony- lump of shit
Now compare that to;
Brisbane
Cowboys
Roosters
Sharks
Melbourne (a team tha combines genuine star power with average fodder)
Warriors.
In conclusion,
our team is on par with a Panthers, Raiders,Souths, parramatta (post cheating).
When viewed in reality with no coaching interference, we are a team that should be around about 9/10 on the ladder.
