One bad call and the boys pack up shop. The dogs we grew up with would use that shit call as motivation.
This is what happens when the club throws the players under the bus to keep the NRL and the media happy (yep talking to you raebro) instead of backing the players, she turned them into pussies! Bullfrog would of torn them a part after that black Friday game... Actually thinking about it, we've never been the same after that game thanks raerae...

All she worries about is compromising people's safety by giving out free memberships to refugees who know nothing about the game and could be potential terrorists (such as those who did the France attack). Also the club needs its aggression back. Since Black Friday we have been soft.

It's not Hasler doing the cleaning, that's for sure!

Canterbury is entering its most radical shake-up since the sacking of favourite son Kevin Moore in mid-2011.

As many as half a dozen members of Des Hasler’s football department won’t be invited back to Belmore next season.

Four are already gone: recruitment duo Noel ‘Crusher’ Cleal and James Whitney, mind coachJohn Novak, and sprint coach Clayton Kearney.

There’s talk assistant coach Kelly Egan might not survive either, with powerbrokers keen to welcome back club great Dean Pay onto Hasler’s staff.

Pay has worked as Ricky Stuart’s defensive coach – at Parramatta and Canberra – for the past four seasons.

The Bulldogs would have to fork out big money to convince him to leave the Raiders – but that in itself is part of the wider problem.

The Bulldogs rely on a hand-out of around $5 million a year from Canterbury Leagues Club to make ends meet.

Despite the fact he’s made two grand finals since arriving at Belmore, Hasler is under the gun for not delivering a premiership to Sydney’s most success-hungry club.

His football department is the envy of rival coaches; and the Leagues Club board believe at least one title would have been a fair return on their huge investment over the past five seasons.

The team’s slide over the past two seasons has worn its patience to breaking point - hence the big changes that have intentionally eroded Hasler’s powerbase.

Cleal, Novac, Kearney and Egan all joined him from the Sea Eagles. The desire to bring back Pay – who would work alongside fellow club legend Jim Dymock – is a power play from the club’s traditionalists.

Hasler still has another year to run on his contract and there’s no chance he’ll be sacked.

On the contrary, he’s odds-on to win a two-year extension. But first he must face the football club board tomorrow night. And then the Leagues Club board must be satisfied with his explanation for the team’s disturbing fade-out over the last month of this year’s competition.

Hasler must also agree to continue working under a very different regime, whereby he would not enjoy as much control.

It’s not as if he wouldn’t have an array of options from rival clubs if he decided not to.

Hasler is likely going to go after this board meeting if the above is right.

They're pulling away his powers and his people.. it is the board boxing him in and making him leave.

So if it wasn't for the Leagues club (and the non sheep fans) asking the obvious questions than it would be continue with the shite? Glad the leagues club has the balls. I agree, 1 premiership should be in the cabinet by now. If Des doesn't want to do it the Bulldogs way than feel free to fuk off tomorrow mate, we are bigger than you and quite simply you are failing. Des, T-rex and all those Manly impostors have enjoyed money for nothing until now and should hold their heads in shame over the returns. If Rae Rae thinks that Des's performance is acceptable than she should be on notice also.

Looking like if true and he is the bitch everyone says he is, then Hasler will be goooooooonnee. I also don't see him sticking around to work with Bulldogs royalty only on Pay and Dymock.

So as Iv been saying for years. WTF is so special about our CEO? If it wasn't for our leagues club handing over 5mill a year, we would be worse than the dragons who only get around 200/300k from their leagues club.
Please now someone explain to me how "she" is so good at making the club money?

$5m a year, and most of it used up by Hasler.

So the leagues club has invested $25m in 5 years for Des Hasler's mates and toys
you got teams like the dragons who have struggling leagues clubs, who can only give 200k a year. If you look at our results compared to theirs, not much difference really.

Everything coming out from people "in the know" and in the media is Des is not going anywhere. Hopefully it's cause Foran is on his way.

That's exactly what I have been saying the whole time.

NRL clubs can't lure in big paying sponsors like the AFL & Soccer. Probably the only one is the Broncos.

At the end of the day, she gets paid too much for what we get back in return. We are lucky that the Leagues Club is very well off and they throw 5m a year at the football club which is a tax write off for the leagues club anyways.

the more i think about it, the more Des needs to be held accountable.

According to the annual report:

2015: Grants paid to Bulldogs Rugby League Club 4.0m
2014: Grants paid to Bulldogs Rugby League Club 4.3m
2013: Grants paid to Bulldogs Rugby League Club 4.0m
2012: Grants paid to Bulldogs Rugby League Club 6.3m

So a total of 18.6 million since Des has been here. You have to wonder what he is doing with all this money.

I tried to look at the Broncos red hill annual report but they dont have much detail in theres. Do you know who would fund them?
