I had a look at their page as well. They definitely seem like a quality outfi, they do all the testing you would need for a Rotty and definitely seem to have a passion for the breed. The 6 week course is very important. Rottys do require a lot of socialisation early so make sure you take advantage of it. Steve is known as the best and his website K9pro.com.au has all the coolest dog stuff in Australia. I've blown thousands on there and could still spend a few thousand more pretty easily if I had the cash.
Shit i just checked out k9pro.com this site will send me fucken broke! Haha i wish you didnt show me the site....
Someones going on a shopping spree!

As a side note.. we bought one of these recently: http://www.cheekita.com.au/our-range/our-range/the-water-butler/

Bloody awesome bit of gear and their customer service is first class (our first one had a slightly leaky hose so they replaced the entire thing).

A few other places to check out:
Pet Barn - www.petbarn.com.au (online + store)
Kellyville Pets - www.kellyvillepets.com.au (online + store)
PetHouseDirect - www.pet-direct.com.au
Petstock - www.petstock.com.au (online + store)
Leura Doggie Store - www.leuradoggiestore.com.au (online + store)
Pet Warehouse 2000 - no online store
RSPCA World for Pets - www.worldforpets.com.au (online + store)
Love That Pet - https://store.lovethatpet.com/ (online + store/vet) - These guys are our vet.

.. Also you no longer own a mobile phone, but rather a personal storage device for all your dog photos.. :D

Boxer17: Tail docking is illegal Australia wide since 2004, except for medical reasons. Ditto debarking.

So his dog is purebred, and has the tail that Rotties SHOULD have ..

It starts with that.. then progressively leads to "Just going to head to Coles", and wandering aimlessly in the dog toy section. Before you know it, every journey out of the house (except to/from work) somehow results in a new toy coming home.

I swear our girl has more toys than I did as a child! I can't walk 2m without stepping on a squeaker these days, and just today my wife send me a message "PetBarn has Dog Winter Clothing.. how cute would she look in a little Dog Beanie!!"

So I pretty much expect to come home and see our girl wearing a dog beanie tonight.

*sigh*

As a side note... KMart doesn't have some bad ones, but when he is young he'll probably tend to chew them up a bit. Depending on as he gets bigger if he's a tearer, or a nibbler, as to how long a lifespan the toys will get.

Our Lab is *REALLY* gentle (we think due to her being maternal and having had pups), so tends to nibble and then preen her toys.

Another thing I forgot to mention.. consider Pet Insurance whilst he is young. Places like PetPlan allow you to pay annually to avoid price hikes. Top cover for us is about $1000 a year.

Hell no, Thats cruel and they usually have spinal problems later on in life
Oh ok just every rotty I've seen has no tail.
Yeah i was talking to the breeder about this and he said after tail docking became illegal in 2004 all these 'natural' born rotties were popping up everywhere, he said natural born bobtail rotties are extremely rare and very expensive, and they almost allways have spinal problems later on in their life, so chances are the rotties you've seen with docked tails have been illegally docked.

Pet insurance! Believe it or not i never considered this, but thanks for planting the seed in my head.
Ill have a look around some policies , do you think it would cost about the same?

Also do i have to let council know that ive got a rotty?
