I was talking with my Mum about footy players of old earlier. She reckons (and I quote) ...

... and who's the other young kid, Jackson ? He reminds me of Folkesy."

Then we were watching a bit of a classic match from '87 between Manly & Parra. It occurred to me Ron Gibbs was like Gordon Tallis but with head-gear. And Dale Shearer used to p*ss us off kind of like Justin Hodges does now.
