Our problems are readily identifiable and fixable but it does not seem we are doing anything to remedy them. If we are, maybe we just don't have the ability with the cattle that we have.

1. Defence - no line speed gifting the opposition big metres which gets line going backwards, quicker opposition play the balls and markers unable to retreat; inability to wrap up the ball and poor one-on-one defence;
2. Ball control - virtually non-existent at times, especially in good attacking positions; and
3. Kick happy when inside the opponents 20m line (Roberts is principal wrongdoer).

Apart from these "minor" issues, there are no problems... Go figure!!!

There are many valid points people have put forward as to why we're not getting the results this year.
To me it appears to stem from the mentality of "playing not to lose", rather than going for it and playing to win.

Other teams who come up against know this, and realise we will very rarely throw anything different at them, &
if they come ready with a high energy game & right "play to win" attitude they can get us.....disturbingly easily.

There is enough talent in this side to win, and FFS we easily could have been 3-2 despite the sh i t e play we have dished up so far this year....thankfully there are enough mediocre teams in this comp for us to figure our sh*t out, and get back into play with some much needed players returning soon from injury.

The reason we can't control opposition offloads is because our forward pack are puny at best, they get overpowered and are unable to prevent the bigger opposition doing what they like, including offloads.

Not much when you look at the ladder.
Another game this week.
Extra 10 laps for every penalty given
or mistake made.

We are still pretty skillful but Williams should of been on the bench against the Warriors, hopefully Halatau will be back this week too.

My Rant (Plz do not delete this)

I rarely comment on the kennel but i want to make my voice heard - I have an opinion and everyone is entitled to one.

Im sick and tired of the way we are playing. Honestly it drives me insane. We play one out two dimensional football that lacks flair, creativity and freedom. If anything we have TOO much structure. I understand the game fairly well playing it for 14 years and supporting my life - I understand the needs for settlers and one up hit ups. HOWEVER Why are we playing 4 inside balls every set of 6 (even when we are on the oppositions line?). It just drives me insane. For those who think Barba is the answer you are wrong. He isnt the "answer" yet. He still needs a lot more time.

The same 2 or 3 players stick out for me every week - Stagg, Armit, Hodgson. These guys through an absolute mountain of work and need to be recognised. Without these 3 we would be losing many more games. I understand tonight we are without 3 of our better players however that isnt an excuse.

We need to show more mungrel and flair. We have arguably the best two centres in the game yet they rarely see the ball? Let the BALL ***IN SING FOR *** SAKES! Why cant our backline receive early ball and do damage? Goodwin and Turner are more than capable finishers too which makes this gameplay even more fkn frustrating.

It honestly brings me to tears watching this great club play so fkn awful. I pour my heart and soul into watching every single game and i honestly cant put into words how painful it is to be let down each and every week. You can bet i will be at the game next week however enduring another frustrating game..We have so so much promise yet we don't deliver? :(

Just one game please Bulldogs.. Turn the style on ffs and show me what you bloody train for each and every week. Get hungry and deliver.

That is all

Btw Jake Foster had a great debut - well done

Borther this is the way they are being coach to play
Same coach and virtually same team as last year...

Moore has a lot to answer for but at the end of the day they're professional footballers, they get paid good money, the players should be better.

Why? Why are we being coached to play this way? Did it work against the eels? No. Did it work against the Dragons? Certainly not. We are carting it up and watching our forwards being mauled by arguably one of the most physical packs in the comp. We RARELY made over 40m. Why cant we adapt and think "Hang on a minute.. maybe this isn't working?" Dumb Dumb football

The players aren't robots who are controlled by the coaches when theyre on the field. The players have not put in the effort this season.

Apart from that unlucky pass from Ryan which resulted in last try for panthers ...we played the style of footy for last 30 minutes we should be playing.

Moore's press conference will be like this,

our effort was there, we played good in patches, we created opportunities but we couldnt finish them off.
Im proud of the boys, we had players missing also, so we train hard this week and come back next week.

Thats what same old crap that kevin moore will say at the press conference.

WHAT A JOKE OF A FOOTBALL TEAM WE GOT AT THE MOMENT.
