He’s going to give us a very good kicking and passing game… that’s a decent leap forward from what we have - Could be a silver lining to complement Burto (who in all honesty has struggled) - should allow him to focus more on running the ball.

Trindall would have been perfect, but we’ve made the play on Sexton - we’ve just got to back him.

Everyone knows I wanted Trindall as well mate, but if that wasn’t to be at least they’ve picked up a kid with a similar big boot, averages over 360 metres and should get stronger and better …

Burtons got a big boot as well but he’s had to much responsibility on his shoulders … if CC can offload 60% of the kicking duties onto Sexpot, that might free up Burtons running game ..

Sexpot doesn’t have to over play his hand either, kick us out of trouble, bark some orders, set up those around him and get us a shit load of repeat sets .. I’d love him to be able to put up cross kicks to JAC ..

Mahoney can go back to just being a 9 …

Plus Sexpot comes cheap .. it’s a win win win … so I’m not to disappointed we didn’t chase Trindall .. I wanted the kicking game, Sexpot has that ..

I think if Trindall was reportedly available, clubs will after him. I feel it comes down to him being unavailable. He did sign an extension knowing Moylan and Hynes was in front of him.

I don’t mind Sexton if he puts in the work and wants to be a good half he definitely has the potential. Hasler will probably want to swap Fafita for okonbor maybe throw in waddle for Tino I reckon Hasler would jump at the opportunity

I think he will get the pack around the park he’s a natural half so might be what our marshmallow pack needs someone to bark orders and direct them around he field

He will also take pressure of Burton with his kicking game and makes us less predictable on last tackle and he has shown in the pass he can put players in holes and assists as well taking on the line

Don't know much about him but if he has a passing game and an eye to putting a player through a hole, I'm hoping he goes well.

We really need a Cliff Lyons, Terry Lamb, Cody Walker type player in the halves who can spot a good run and supply the pass.

Hoping he is not a pre-meditated type player coz it will be a failure.

The other part in all this is that ppl still think a good organising half will unlock Burton running game....

It won't. The only thing that will unlock his game is for him to shift wider...like at centre.

Burton's running game in the middle is really not that good. I should be, but he is better when he is wider and has the defence sliding across him.

I'm wondering just when will CC give up on him as a half or 5/8th and move him where he belongs....
