I had a full shave today only cause I can't grow an even beard!
I also got rid of those sideburns

A good comb, a good pair of scissors and good clippers.

The rest is preference. Shampoo and condition is good. Anything with "volume" on it. Beard oils smell great and are useful if you don't produce much oil yourself or if it gets itchy. Other than that it's pretty straight forward. A good pair of scissors and clippers to clean it up occasionally.

i'm actually just going with a goatee which i can get to a length where it can get braided, so are oils and all that jazz all pretty much the same?
